The large counties (Harris, Dallas, Bexar, Travis, etc.) probably have the best of all these styles. Harris Co./Houston exhibit pretty much all of them in some form or another-though not all of them are county-level government buildings. The Harris Co. courthouse is of the ___ style, Houston’s City Hall is one of the best examples of Modernist-Art Deco in the nation, Harris Co. Civil Courthouse is Chicago/Commercial architecture. I think the only styles missing are Second Empire and Log Cabin, but both could be easily found right outside the county (log cabin at Washington-on-the-Brazos, and SE architecture is abundant on Galveston Island)
Is there a town where you can find all of these type of architecture ?
