LIVEKINDLY I removed all non-native plants from my yard and install only natives. I have lots of bees visiting but no other neighbors do. I have bee balm and many bee favorites.
Leave the edges of your property natural. A 10 foot wide natural edge around the yard makes a difference. The natural edge provides healthy native plants, provides a natural fence line, adds to privacy and help block the view. Adding a variety of flowers, bushes and ground cover provides food and shelter.

Too many people pull up milk weed and destroy it. It is the only plant Monarch caterpillars feed on. They exclusively need the leaves of milkweed, the only host plant for this iconic butterfly species. Milkweed is critical for the survival of monarchs. Destruction of milkweed is hurting this beautiful butterfly.

I have seen many transformations of gardens where people cut down all plants and replace them with cement and it's so sad to see that, a patios without trees or flowers just more construction
That's what were doing to even our villages here here in Belgium - all concrete - less green - less flowers - no bees. Beside that the village is becoming a heat island, it's also becoming a infertile desert.
Good question. I think they are, not sure. The connection here is that vegans don't eat honey or any products that harm any animals, or bees. So we can "save the bees" by being vegan, or beegan.
@@hmmm-rr7hv oooh, ok fyi, eatng honey doesn’t really harm bees, I’ve done the research, beekeepers take amounts that don’t hurt the colony, but you know, do what you want
All Bees (and other pollinators) are essential for human life on this planet. Without them - famine and more misery. Keeping the wildflowers and the bees is more important than humans fighting over some pieces of land.
Honeybees are not in need of saving whatsoever, they are tended to by humans, are not native and actually spread diseases and compete for resources with wild native bees. For anyone watching, honeybees do not nest in bee hotels, those are for our solitary native bees. 30% of them will nest in things like bee hotels but the other 70% nest underground and would be better helped by leaving a bare patch of dirt in your yard. Buying honey wont help save the bees because honeybees are not in danger and our native bees do not make honey. Opt for native plants, which the native bees of your area have evolved alongside for millions of years.
I think the plant base diet argument is a bit bs, the transporting fruit and veg across the world isn't helping anything and when you don't have enough room to grow you need too make some more room at the expense of something else, everything needs a fine balance.
I am going to try and incorporate all these changes - I don't use pesticides and don't have a lot of meat and dairy (but I could definitely reduce it further) and I'm definitely going to try and encourage bee protection by creating a garden which will attract bees. I'm going to leave all the dandelions! I didn't know they liked them. I have a lot to learn.
Alright, nuber two is just no, don’t promote veganism its flat out annoying and you can do other thinsg to prevent global warming Just not eating cows is enough, maybe just strive for that
So, save the bees because it benefits us? I thought we were advocates for all animals? Oh I see only when our continuity and food sources are threatened.
You do realize that in most cases, eating honey doesn't harm the bees, right? Besides, eating an animal's vomit and excrements is a funny way of seeking revenge on the premise of unwarranted hate lol Btw honey bees are only one of thousands of species of bees. How are you plotting your revenge on the rest of the 20000 species of bees?
Will you implement any of these tips to help save the bees?
I have been running my bee hotel for two ✌️ years now. I even live stream the hotel on CZcams. 👀

That would likely be dandelions and purple wild flowers where I live. That would honestly be very pretty.
I’ve got that bee house! Took a few months to get native bees but they are using it now! 😍
Haha 😂 love your channel name

It's August in Scotland. The flowers are blooming in my wild garden, but I haven't seen any bees all year. This is worrying.

You're doing Gods work my friend.
While doing some of these things means change and work for many of us, it's important to understand what bees mean to the world so thanks.
As a kid, I would see gardens full of 🐝 everywhere, now I’m surprised if I see one, sad reality
I`ll do all the stuff except nobody comes between me and my beefburgers and i`m not ever going to use Soy Milk.
I want to do all but the hotels. So I'll do the milk and meat part for you and you do the hotels for me!!
I just watered the front of my house and there was a wasp and it didn't sting me
Who else did a happy dance when hearing it's not good for the bees when you mow your lawn every week? 😂
Im so happy I got another vegan ad!!
Yes!
Wow! These are all great ideas! I love the bee stop.
Honeybees are ok its wild bees we need to protect.

Bees aren't the only pollinators in the natural world. There's wasps, hover flies, hummingbirds, sunbirds.
