i20 is more comfortable and spacious than venue. I have taken test drive of both i20 and venue. i20 is more comfortable than venue. Infact i20 can compete with verna and hondacity in terms of space and comfort

Depends from person to person and priorities.. some people see that they are getting a compact suv at the price but both sonet and venue have lesser rear seat space than i20 and altroz.. for me space is more important hence i was considering venue but now i am going for i20

Its like those who couldnt afford fortuner or endeaver bought creta (white also became craze mostly due to same ideology) then came seltos or others trending and well performing suvs. It also got sold for similar reasons. But for people who genuinely doesnt have that much budget but are influnced by having an suv be it compact they then go for compact segment. Now back to comparing venue and i20 both base variants doesnt have similar features despite same price range. Venue has higher ground clearance,more boot space, stiff suspension, more body roll, and 8 cm taller. whereas i20 has more features, longer wheelbase for stability on turns, more mileage, less boot space but more rear leg space. only if u ride daily on bad roads go for venue otherwise according to me i20 is the right choice!

And console and infotainment ka design venue ka ekdum boring and outdated hai, doesn't even come close to i20, here also i20 wins. Comfort ki baat? i20 is more spacious and more comfortable, suspension setup of suv are on stiffer side whereas of hatchback are on smoother sides. Ride quality and comfort wise also i20 is better, go and have a test ride. The look and feel of interior of i20 is way better than venue. Venue also feels small and underpowered. SO WHO WILL BUY VENUE WHEN YOU GET I20 WITH BETTER PACKAGE IN ANY TERMS? Venue base model does not have even the basic features, rear seat space is pathetic. i20 magna has all the basic required features and amazing rear seats comfort. Personally I don't like the looks of venue, never liked the design.
New i20 has better leg room in the back but Venue has taller seats. So it is difficult to compare. But for me Venue is more comfortable than my i20 on long journeys as a driver as well as passenger. I have Venue and older i20.

If 5 people in family, then go for i20 without any doubt. I have tried and tested. Space and overall dynamics of i20 are better than venue
if you want practical car I mean with more bootspace, fuel tank capacity and more power torque and supercharged engine. Go for venue. But if you want more safety features and more feature loaded car ( big touch screen, fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, etc.) Go for i20 asta optional at 10.3 lakh. This is what from where the main difference occurs.
