Your video on Sierras is very interesting. I like how so many of your birds will stay with you (on a perch, your hand, or shoulder) throughout the video. The colors of Sierras look identical to me; I can't tell who is Nova and who is Galaxy, but their colors are beautiful. I agree that they should be paired for companionship; I keep my budgies that way too. As always, great seeing Jack Sparrow get in the video too; splashing in the fountain with your Sierra.

Sierra's are hard to find if you are in Canada. Parrotlets are different then Lovebird's, they are smaller, bolder, nippier, and have a different call.
Those are so cute. Oh I hope that my bird will fly. He was clipped and also broke his tail. He falls a lot.

Hi, there are many birds that can become a one person bird but it's best to have them like everyone as you never know if you will need to go away and have someone take care of her or if you get sick etc.
It's hard to say what kind of bird as I don't know your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a bird.
Make sure you research each species before getting a bird. Some birds that are considered a one person bird may not be the right bird for you. Senegals are known to be a one person bird but I don't recommend them as they can be so nasty and temperamental but there are some nice Senegal's as they are all individuals. Ringnecks are considered a one person bird but they can be difficult to own and they scream very loud which can be an issue.
Conures can be a one person bird. Ant bird can be a one person bird but some may go to anyone but like their person the best. I find that birds that like anyone make the best pet bird.
Donna may I ask , do you have humidifier in the room with all your birds , and keep temperature the same ?
Hi, yes I have a humidifier in my birdroom. I only use it when the air is dry. I keep the temperature the same. The temperature is the same as my house at 21°
I keep two running all the time because it's very dry in Wyoming.
Sierra parrakeets should be called friar parrakeets because it looks like they have friar tuck's hair

Keep trying, they are hard to find. Look for bird clubs as they list breeders sometimes. Join Facebook groups about birds and ask around

Hi. I have not heard them speak. They are not known for their speaking abilities but you never know. My lovebird says a few words and one of my bourkes and they are known for not being able to talk

Hi, the cost will vary depending on where and who you get one from. Hand Fed babies are usually more then parent raised babies. Private breeders are usually cheaper then pet stores etc.

Look for breeders in your area or check local bird clubs. Ask your local bird store or join some bird groups and ask around and you may find one.

Hi I was wondering how long do they usually live for?
Hi, I would estimate around the same as a budgie which is between 10 to 15 years however these birds are very rare and no one has had one long enough to be a senior bird.

Please give me some advice. I got my budgie a week ago, I have owned birds before and watched so many videos before getting her lol. she’s 6 months old already. She has a nice cage, fresh food and water, lots of toys, I speak to her and play her music and leave telly on for her when I leave the room. But she looks so depressed. She rarely ever moves, she makes no noise, she doesn’t rise any of her toys, she just sits facing away from me all day every day. She’s had a little millet off me once on her third day but she won’t have anymore not even through the bars. She used to live in an aviary, is she lonely? Does she need a friend? Or shall I just give her a little more time? It just breaks my heart seeing her so sad. I have left her cage open for hours even when I’m not in the room just to see if she does anything but she just sits in the same spot :( she is eating but only when I’m out the room. Any advice I’d be grateful for please x

What do you feed your indian ringneck EVERY DAY? I want to know the main diet, something that's supposed to be given everyday THANK YOU (:
Hi, It's best to feed lots of vegetables daily. Birds are usually the hungriest in the morning so they usually will eat the fresh foods first thing in the morning. I make chop for my birds. Chop is basically chopped up vegetables. Look up what's not safe for birds. I recently made a chop video, did you watch it? Limit seeds and feed a quality pellet. Offer pellets after he eats the fresh foods and use the seed for training and treats. Tree nuts are great for training and treats also. Almonds, pine nuts and walnuts are my birds favorites. Offer fruit three times a week and offer it in the morning as fruit has sugar and they need to wear it off before bed.
There is different opinions on the internet so do your research and do what's best but fresh foods are the healthiest for them. The best pellets are tops pellets.
Limit seeds and especially sunflower seeds as they are fattening

What do you think too putting a love bird with 2 cockatiels together would this be ok ?
It's unsafe to do so. Lovebird's can be killers. It's best to put thier cages near each other and let them out together with supervision. Some Lovebird's are nasty and females can be very aggressive. Even two cockatiels may fight so be prepared to have another cage just in case they fight.
Some birds prefer their own cage.
Yeah i was kind of guessing you would say that about the love bird but wanted to be sure. And as for my two cockatiels they do fight a little but its it's mainly over who has the more of the food so i have had to add a second offer of food in the cage. Also my male cockatiel has developed a sexual fascination with a fleece that i keep on top of the cage and has become very vocal , if i let him fulfill his needs he quietens down so I'm unsure whether I should be stopping him doing this
You can take away the fleece and see what happens. If he is very obsessed with it and won't stop mating with it then it could cause a problem. He may start to regurgitate on it and some birds constantly do this and it could cause a health issue.
But some birds need to do this to stay sane and it won't cause any health issues.

Dear love of pets: Thank-you for your concern. Good Morning, it's a new day. The link I tried to use was the Amazon link. The birds were very small when I brought them. The birds were nine months old when I brought them. Dos-chico looked like he was 2 or 3 months old when I took him out the pet store. The other bird looked like she was 4 months old . They both grew large and apparently the birds had problems before I took them out the pet store. Dos--chico had yellow murky dots around his beck, and had long nails. Do0s-chico is a white bird. After two treatments with the avian veterinarian his berk is white and looks clearer. He grew so big from the two months I had him that the brid doctor says he is one year and one month old. That now he seems to have problems breathing and he is losing his equilibrium, he could have a possible tumor. I have an appointment for him next week. Suezy--q she was nine months when I took her out of the pet shop but looked younger. She grw to a large size when I had her for a month. I was letting her fly more around than Dos-chico because she was willing to come more out her home than Dos-chico would. She didn't fly much like Dos-chico but later on she would hide her self in her new home. Finally it appeared she was growing new feathers and one of her feather's wing was dripping blood. I notice the dropping right away and had to put her wrapped in a towel and pour flour on her. Later i would give her baths and but the stop blood from dripping medicine on her. One of her wings was slightly clipped and underneath the right wing was a nasty scar that went around her body. I thought they both were going to die on me in the home. I thought of giving up the birds to a new home. I took them both to the bird doctor and now I have both of them. I might have to give Dos-chico his medicine through his mouth. I have 3 Male parakeets and one female in a cage and the males fight alot. Do the males always compete or does it get better?
They always fight for the female unfortunately

Hi. I had to rehome Nova as Galaxy was fighting with him and hurt him. Two males don't get along. He went to a home with another Sierra. I have a new Sierra and she is female and they seem to be getting along better.
