Awka our capital city has not gotten the kind of attention is getting now. In Abuja, where I live Eagle square, National Assembly, Fed Secteriat, Aso rock, Court of appeal and Millennium park are all in the same location. It add beauty to the environment. It is almost the same thing in Awka. Kudos to Anambra.
Instead of gates and fences they should design an open square with mable flooring like what benin republic did in that Amazonian lady statue square and the square in Accra ghana..
All those feather roads should be expanded. They should stop building houses close to the roads. Narrow roads make a city look so local. Widen it. Put a wide median, plant trees and flowers.
With time Anambra state will be great 👍. My joy is that it is competing with states created more than 45 years ago
