Do you flush with engine oil detergent prior to extracting with extractor

Good educational video. How tight does the drainplug needs to be when closing (in Nm) for these w204 types. Additionally: do you open the oil cap and pull the dipstick out a bit when draining? Does it drain faster/better like that or not?.
