wow. I have a 1.5 year old male shepherd named havoc. just picked him up from a shelter. I have had many shepherds growing up including white shepherds. I was always taught no more than 2 or 3 cups of food per serving as German shepherds can develop over weight issues as with any dog. pug for example. we have a weight problem in the USA with dogs and humans eating too much food.
