Does the void buddy have a slot in the prismatic abilities?
sadly no. You can get a new solar buddy tho
try out felwinter's helm. the weaken counts as void weaken even though it also blinds. incredibly strong with a trace rifle since you can prep for finishers really easy. scales higher level content well since you hit a point where red bars dont die in one shot and you can finish them too.
@@joshw.2739 There isn't anything that says an exotic effect can't do two things at once, and with the right fragments felwinter's finishers trigger a pile of effects anyways
PLEASE NOTE your nova bomb testing is affected by the universal dungeon/raid surges, which currently buffs void.
Reduce the damage numbers by 20% and you have it's actual damage.
Genuinely impressive this guy can do a xur overview in less time than it takes to talk about cereal.
For threaded, Dmg and blast radius are inversely tied together in a lot of destiny so Im sure its just that same interaction because of how they defined their code.
I thought all enemies just took a flat 20% health reduction
@@oldsaddad7274 I mean for weapons if you increase the blast radius you decrease its dmg, its why on rockets you just want impact and velocity not blast radius. So if they double up the blast radius it makes sense (because of how they code it in other places) that it would decrease the impact dmg. Reusing functions is extremely common for destiny... breaks the game constantly lol. Like the new infinite ascensions with radiant dance machines

IIRC, threaded blast was on the Season 20 artifact, and there was a buff to tangles at some point that pushed it beyond the damage of threaded blast. My guess to why it lowers damage is that it doesn't buff the damage, it actually just modified the flat number.
A lot smarter than my idea that tangles somehow got the GL change where blast radius stat decreases damage

Am I more hyped for this raid than any before? Yes. Have I also slept the least after an expansion drop and before a raid? Also, yes.
3:52 atm i can get radiant, Amplified, a void overshield and woven mail with one shield throw melee. Its so dumb but its nice, love more radiant chances
Restoration, devour, and frost armor off one grenade kill on warlock is nice.

Radiant, Weaken, Void Overshield, Disorient, and Void Damage Buff off one powered melee kill with Felwinter's Helm. More/other buffs for finishers too and for void and strand weapons on orb pickup and with weapon perks like Repulsor Brace.
I could be wrong but I think there is a void surge on the dungeons rn which means the nova bomb numbers could be inflated by 25% (someone might have to double check me)
Power capping raids and dungeons and adding in surge mods was a horrible decision. So stupid.

FYI there is a void surge on this week for every dungeon and raid so the slova bomb damage without the surge is actually 525k
Elemental charge cost reduction is also really nice. 2x surge+3 cost stat boost is super nice on boots.
Song of Flame + Polaris allows you to hit consecutive ignitions like you could back in Wish. Since well is gone this might be good to do solo stuff with.
I did see an arc effect around your body when you had Galvanic Armour, though it would be nice if it was on the HUD

You should test Press the Advantage when breaking the shield of a guardian in super with the matching element. Some perks used to have that very specific criteria to activate in pvp (disruption break? idk). And what about overshields?
0:41 I think this is because the "blast radius" is being increased. Similar to GLs

My shield crush is gonna go to my season of plunder build with in most light pretty well.
Honestly every season needs to have a "solo operative" style perk in the artifact.
Or it should just be on permanently when playing solo.

Betting the decrease in tangle damage is due to the radius of the blast being a divisor in the algorithmic calculation

I’m loving the solar mini turret but I’ve only unlocked half the artifact. Void has some crazy mods this season which is awesome as void hasn’t got much love the past couple seasons
The one I want to try once I grind the artifact is Shieldcrush with Mothkeeper Wraps. Those moths are going wild with this xD

Shieldcrush and the other trancedance perk in the final coloumn gonna go wild with song of flame and apotheosis

DPS theory crafting: I’m wondering what the damage would be when you combine the following Song of Flame+Shieldcrush+Radiant Orbs+Dragon’s Breath.
The reason why I want to see the damage on this is because I’m wondering if Song of Flame will increase the damage done to the boss due to Dragon’s Breath being auto reloaded way faster than ever before through ignitions. Did some mild testing on one of the campaign bosses and I noticed a huge difference but I’m wondering how much.
When we get exotic class items I plan on combining liars and renewal grasps for that sweet shield crush on cross counter on a stasis debuffed enemy. Hunters are the true melee class.

It seems to stack, bec I’m getting some HILARIOUS numbers.
What does Expanding Abyss do on Aeon (the debuff option) with Buried Bloodline headshots/catalyst? If I remember correctly, it usually is a 35-38% debuff against Champions.
Do deaththrow work with that mod and the super solargrenade?
Don't forget that we will get the exotic class items soon (hopefully) and Warlocks will then be able to have the Star-Eaters super dmg buff effect!
Anybody else that didnt buy Final Shape hate that absolute tease in the beginning mission. It made it feel like you got prismatic for free, i could even change my stuff on it. But then they just took it away
So the ammo back sword perk, with the special sword, means special ammo back, which means double special is back baby
Blade Stamina will surely help with the low ammo of Ergo Sum.

What about the prismatic Warlock transcendence grenade weaken? We potentially may just need that instead of a full on void debuff

jesus, with the void suppress/weaken mod + melee boost combo on banner of War Titan + the new strand armor exotic we gonna be slicing and dicing everything.

Thats the same amount of overshield you get by hitting one enemy with the titan shield throw and now everyone can technically have that? Nah that void shield is pretty nice plus with Titans aspect that gives you better nade regeneration with a void shield that mod is gonna go crazy on Titan
Im thinking the damage numbers either have to do with damage falloff or the weirder of the two, it is a side-effect of bungie’s blast radius nerf on GLs. No proof, just a hunch
For the numbers, try doing a private gambit match.
Maybe they code a tangle the same way they do a rocket/grenade launcher shot and the increase in blast radius decreased the overall damage?

With shield crush does Young Ahamkaras Spine stand a chance of making a return? I loved that exotic. The nerf pissed me off since meanwhile warlocks were dropping entire fricking suns worth of grenades (**at the time of the YAS nerf**)

Seems like the bigger the explosion the less damage the weapon can make. That spike nade nerf feels like it changed how damage and explosion radius scales.
Overload sword? Swords were meta with this perk a few years ago. Staggering with a few swipes is insane..
It's because the raid has a new "lol, nobody uses Lament anymore" beast of a legendary sword coming, void with a Frenzy on steroids of a trait. Heals you as you stay in combat, does more and more damage. There's a new energy ammo sword you can get random rolls on. And The Colony got buffed, why? Because the new energy sword can roll with mechanical bots per hit that rush out and do damage. They nerfed some swords because swords were about to become meta in this new season.
blade stamina+relentless strike+chain reaction=infinite ammo as long as there are ads. I was geri g 5 refunded on every chain reaction kill of a group of trash ads with 1 or 2 light attacks.
Does Expanding Abyss work in PVP? Imagine the Void Soul or the overcharged Vortex with that
