The closer you're to 1 the more powerful, old and intelligent a vampire is, there is only one vampire ranked 1 and that is the Progenitor of all vampires. While I agree the majority are not able to fight a captain of this soul society but the Progenitor Council would be able to fight them, some of the Progenitor would only be able to fight them in base form but the higher ones could fight shikai captains while the 2nd,3rd and possibly 4th could fight bankai captain lvl. For instance lucal wesker was a 15th progenitor and he easily manhandled yuu's team and only died to to arrogance. Lucal wesker is a weak progenitor yet could fight a vice captain in shikai but would eventually lose. The difference between a 15th progenitor and a 14th progenitor is so great that the 15th progenitor could not even land a hit on a 14th progenitor, so you can imagine how powerful crowley is he is officially a 13th progenitor yet he is secretly a 7th or 8 progenitor in power, crowley is able to create a show wave just by flicking his sword up which is powerful enough to slice through someone, when crowley is serious enough he went head to head with yuu which was a seraph and had his rips smashed to pieces and carried on like it was a paper cut, he also had his neck broken and he got up of floor and clicked it back in place. As for ferid bathory a seventh progenitor and the son of saito a second progenitor, he is more powerful then crowley by leaps. As for kyluc my favourite vampire, he is a 5th Progenitor he flicked his arm and split the ocean in two just because he felt uneasy about something, he is so powerful that not even crowley and ferid working together with yuu, gurren and his team and yuu was in his seraph mode and kyluc was toying with them all and said oh dear its time to kill a monster hahaha. He was able to see through all the diversions and was bearly injured by yuu's seraph mode, he then tactically fell back due to having krul tepes a 3rd projector crusified on a cross and knew that if she was somehow freed he would probably die so he left and carried her with one arm across a counter in seconds. As for the 3rd progenitors there are three of them Lest Karr and krul tepes but I don't know the others name, they are so powerful that they can most probably split a whole valley in two just from moving their arms. As for the second progenitors, now this is a whole new board game, they are basically border line gods only beaten by the first progenitor, Urd geales and saito are so powerful that the seraph's are like pests they could easily walk through them, just from saito and urd clashing their arms together was enough to send the 3rd progenitor Lest Karr flying away due to the show wave and Lest Karr was split in half from the blast wave. Urd realised that if they were to clash seriously it would destroy japan and it would sink into the ocean so urd let saito get away. As for the first progenitor he is only beaten in power by God himself, he is literally immortal, he has tried to kill himself so many times he has given up, he looks like an angel, to put it in perspective saito and urd which are 2nd progenitors are just like crippled kids in his presence. It would take someone like aizen or yhwach to kill the first progenitor. So to put that in perspective the higher ranking vampires could fight and win some captains, both saito and urd could fight the majority of the captains and breeze though them, the only ones they'd really struggle with and possibly lose to is, yamamoto, retsu, zaraki and shunsui. But if they fought together they could win everyone of those captains in a 2v1 but would be killed by old man yammas bankai without a doubt and would probably die from or at least be seriously injured from shunsui's bankai
KY luc split the ocean with one strike and urd decide to blow the whole shinjuku so urd geales can even take down captain easily. Shikami 1st progenitor can take down anyone in bleach.
I don't like ferid very much probably because he murdered children in cold blood even tho they weren't really even a threat but enough of my rambling it a great amp ;) keep up the good work
dylan bennett well may I say I really liked ferid he was my favourite character because if I was him I would of done the same, because I would find it entertaining myself to let someone think they can fool me and try and escape. But it's funny really because everyone I know think I'm the nicest person they know but in reality I'm a cold hearted human if I had the chance to become a vampire I would do it because I hate humanity.
