3 things
1) when landing try to maintain airspeed around 120kts
2) try to stay a little bit higher than the carrier
3) when landing, "3" is your best friend the cursor gives you more control and allows you to make slighter adjustments.
It's not just 120, try to stay around your stall speed(the speed highlighted red on your speed bar). I'm pretty sure that if I tried landing with say an Su-47 at 120 kts I would crash and die
nah mate i use my joystick to control, way too underrated of a controller
Ok for the people here i am going to say some thing that might help
1: the hook is visual you dont NEED it but if you want it you need to press n if the plane has a tail hook
2: Use cam 3 it's very good if you want to make small adjustments
3: Not all planes have a tail hook, planes like the f-18, f-14 and the f-4 are carrier planes, but to see alll you need to do is select your plane, and then look under the engine (it's there most or if always there)
4: if you have low airspeed and miss the cable you can still recover by holding shift for the landing brakes (do it if you're just above stall speed)
5: To do the catapult press p when you are next to or on top of the catapult, when you have pressed p use cam 3 and use after burners;
6: if the carrier is moving press select info on their green box to tell their speed, if they are moving you might wanna speed up by 1% to catch up but when you are closer go down 1%
7: If you are laggy or they are laggy the carrier wont be moving smoothly, just watch out for that
8: Try and keep you speed below or at 120Kts so you wont fall off
9: try and keep above the deck when landing and get the carrier to clear the runway incase of any big planes
10: As i believe the white box that says 0 at the bottom, if you put a number there like 200 it should make your plane go to 200kts if it goes that fast (Idk bout this one as i have not tested it out myself)
11: to slow down in the air press t to slow down
12: if a carrier like the Elizabeth then that carrier is mostly for vtol as it doesnt have arresting wires
And there is 12 things, it is alot but it's to help others who are newer to the game
You can use the white bar in-between the fuel and health to set a specific airspeed, click and type in the box for example"140" and you'd set your airspeed to 140Knots

A easy way I use is to go 10 Km away from the carrier cut your engine about 3 and get low to the deck once you catch the arresting wire toggle air brakes it works perfect.

Carrier landings are very hard due to glitcheness (I didn’t spell that right) And the Neo floating systems suck and I’m not the best lander in Neo. (I can butter in Ptfs)

There are also camera options when doing landing if you wanted to, just press 1 to 5 to change your camera type.

How to land on the carrier
1: when landing always be on Cam 3 ire your best friend. u can make more adjustments with it
2: Stay around 100-150 knts (1.5-2.0km)
Stay around 100-50(500-1.0km)
3: Use air brakes when your about or land (R - T)

Just to let you all know if the player who is lagging or if you are lagging then it is possible that the carrier will glitch out or sink if you use that elevator while you are on it
I recommend going high or full throttle right before touchdown incase you miss the arresting cable
Maybe a good idea? I tried this and the instant acceleration made me go way too fast.

tho when you land you have the throttle at 85 when touchingthe surface you turn up to 100 so you dont fall off the other side if you fail to grap a hook

N usually, just try T,Y,N and M they usually control misc stuff on the aircraft like folding wings, airbrakes and such

I'd say the f-18, f-14, f-4, eurofighter typhoon or the sukhoi-33 are the main ones but for prop planes, hellcat or wild cat

depends on the aircraft but just keep flying with like after burners unless it super cruises then you can just keep going and it will pass mach.

you dont need to, the planes catch it anyways and onley some planes have it so for example if you are using the f-22 you cant use the arresting cables but you can still land if you are skilled

@@Labu2312 I know that the hook is just visual but i like to use it to know how high i am above the carrier when landing and if i need to get lower, idk the wire just helps me

@@n3m3sisr3dwin3 if you got perms from the dude who is a carrier, use the arrows to move around and move to the carrier, press set spawn and click on the carrier. and for the hook its N (it might be different on other planes cuz i use the F/A-18C)
