94% of People Fail Area 52’s 20-Patty “Forbidden” Smash Burger Challenge!!

- American pro eater Randy Santel and Czech competitive eater @SteelRodRadim Dvořáček, each versus Area 52 Diner's 20-Layer "Forbidden" Bacon Smash Cheeseburger Challenge hosted by Area 52 Diner in Owosso, Michigan!! For the final restaurant food challenge of my trip with "Steel Rod" Radim and @MagicMitch Dombrowski, we left Bryan, Ohio where we attempted LaBo's "El Jefe" Gourmet BBQ Pulled Pork Macaroni and Grilled Cheese Sandwich Challenge, and headed back up north to Owosso, Michigan. There, we headed to Area 52 Diner and all attempted their 20-Patty "Forbidden" Smash Burger Challenge. Out of 17 people who had tried the challenge, only our friend @NathanKleinEats was able to finish everything within the 30 minute time limit. That means that 94% of people fail the challenge!! Radim and I went first and we each had just 30 minutes to feast on a massive "20-layer" burger tower that consisted of TWENTY beef smash burger patties, stacked and layered with 20 slices of American cheese. There were 2 strips of bacon on every fifth burger patty, and the whole hamburger was topped with a pickle slice. The "Forbidden" Challenge includes a 1 pound side of fries and a large flavored milkshake of your choosing. Radim and I each ordered their Chocolate Cake Milkshake with added peanut butter. Delicious!! We were both trying to win our $39.99 bacon cheeseburger tower meals free plus sweet t-shirts and spots on Area 52 Diner's "Forbidden" Challenge Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Jeff (dad) & Joel (son) the owners, and everyone with Area 52 Diner in Owosso, Michigan for the wonderful food, drinks, desserts, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Tuesday evening to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone in the Owosso, MI area and all around Michigan who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!! This was the final food competitive eating challenge of the trip filmed with "Steel Rod" Radim and "Magic" Mitch Dombrowski, and I hope you all enjoyed the series of videos we all filmed together!!
