Intovert. I find large groups exhausting after a long period of time. Its definitely not a shyness thing, i just know my sensory overload limit, group of twenty for a three hour party is like two days in Vegas, and im ready to go. Hope that makes sense.

You perfectly articulated what I feel around groups. I'm not shy. Although I do feel at times like I don't know how to initiate a conversation (besides "hi"), or keep it going. Maybe that is because of how I was raised. I'm friendly and caring once you get to know me but I just feel really awkward interacting with adult humans at times. I get so excited about going home alone to watch Hulu or Netflix. I love going for walks by myself.

I'm an introvert though and through. Social settings end up feeling more like chores to me than anything else. I need to snap out of that mentality, but nah.
Sometime social events feel like a chore to me too. I attend them, wanting to enjoy them but sometimes that is not the case. It's funny because as a child, I rather be outside than inside.
I'm definitely an introvert. I've been told, in many ways, that I leave the talking to the blowhards. Lol. I find it to be a blessing and a curse, though. It's nice to be reflective, but sometimes, I just want to come back with a snappy comeback right then and not ten hours later, you know? Yeah well. Love your posts!

I just found your channel...I am def an introvert. As a child I thought something was wrong with me. I come from a family of extroverts that really didn't get me. It led me to have low self esteem as child- teens. It wasn't until I learned about introverts in college that I felt like I finally found a word for how I felt. Not shy. Overwhelmed by large groups. Small groups are always preferred. I can go out for a weekend (Friday- Sunday) a have a good time socializing, butI would be good on seeing people for a month and be fine. I enjoy quiet. Too much talking leaves me anxious and I HATE small talk. If I don't have anything to say, I don't feel the need to speak.

I'm the worced kind of introvert- I'm also a geek-nerd-OCD all in one sandwich. As a Kenyan, living in Kenya, everyone in my family is an extrovert...I get a most grief for being either weird, shy, too aloof or reserved --But I love it.

Meaning im right in the middle...I can totally feed off the energy of another person and vibe and be outgoing...and then there are a lot of times in which I get sweaty and bad anxiety being around large groups and even social events...and want to crawl deep into my cave..
but. to answer your initial question, back in the day when I used to go to a counselor he tested that I am highly INTROVERTED.

I'm an introvert but I'm also not shy. It just exhausts me when I am around a lot of people for a long period of time and being alone in peace and quiet for like an hour just gives me LIFE
I'm an introvert. I feel the exact same way when I'm around a lot of people. I had to plan and attend an office party and we had it on Friday. I was down for the count for the whole weekend pretty much. I had no energy to do anything and I didn't want to be around anybody.lol This is why I don't like parties or being in large groups. It just drains me and I hate it when that happens because while I'm waiting on my energy tank to fill up, I'm super unproductive.
I'm an extrovert but kind of shy in new social scenarios. But once you get me going...I'm on! Also if I am made the leader of a social situation I step up in a big way. I just get shy when I don't know what role to play lol

Definitely an introvert. I am not shy, and I really do love people and I can be very outgoing, but most of the time I am at home, alone in my room browsing the internet, reading or doing research. And I love it. Smh. I enjoy restaurants and hanging with friends, but love it when I am home and can veg out on nothingness.
I am such an introvert! I make videos, vlog, and be crazy on camera with no problem, but when my local viewers approach me I get super quiet and awkward. I do try to push myself a little to be a bit more social, but other times I'm just chill with my whole "Daria" demeanor.

Anyway, the answer to your question.... I'm definitely an introvert. I'm far from shy and would talk to anyone but when I'm around two many people my energy levels go to the floor. It's like everyone else around me zaps my energy. It's crazy.

I am an extrovert, or I like to think of myself as one. But lately I'm finding that my energy is depleted around certain people and I just... can't with them.
I'm definitely an introvert. I'm goofy on my own, but around people I'm more of a listener. When I meet people, I'm socially awkward but after we've gotten to know each other my goofy side comes out.
I am an introvert for sure. One of my passions is going to the movie theater by myself. In face I'm going this weekend to see the new Annie movie and the third Hobbit movie.

I am definitely an introvert. Just learning that I am. I don't like small talk, large crowds, etc. New people think I'm quiet, but I'm just observant and laid back around people I don't know. I am pushing myself to meet new people. Went to three events in the past month by myself and I didn't know anybody. That's definitely progress for me.

I am realizing that I feel so good at the mall and Target just small talking with random ppl. I don't feel comfortable with small talk, but I'm great at it and it does give me energy to be out in the world. I wonder if that's a product of the pandemic and me spending soooo much time alone.

I'm definitely an introvert. I'm social to a certain extent, I'll have my lil fun "or wudeva" but nothing is like coming home and charging back up. I don't even like shopping because of all the people. I'm very to the point when I shop, in and out. And the rest of the world is the opposite. Lol. Btw, I crack my wrists and ankles but I don't have the courage to pop my neck.

When you released this blog I probably would have said Extrovert. At that time I was a young sophomore in college trying to romp around New York City. 2020 Kellin is an Introvert. She has since graduated from college, is about to finish a master's, and is on her way to a Ph.D.
I like being by myself and enjoy my own company NOT because 2020 told me to stay in the house but because I was doing it anyway.
Anyway, your old videos still make me laugh!

That was so cute at the end. :p Why are dads, and just, men in general the hardest to shop for? I usually just give them a card and some cash, because I'm not going to rip my hair out tryinh to play the guessing game in the middle of Target. And I'm like you. I can be very hyped and energetic when I'm on a one-on-one interaction thing, but in a group setting, I quiet ALL the way down. Lol.

Introvert definitely. I've always hated public speaking.. Terrified of it actually.. but I'm pretty much a strong introvert in my eyes but just like you said I don't consider myself shy however my energy is very very low around other people. I get random bursts of energy when I feel confident and lively maybe one day so to speak depending on my mood and the people present but the majority of the time I'm usually pretty quiet and reserved.by the way.. You are friggin hilarious girl... You remind me of my best friend so much...

I'm Most Def an Extrovert, and married to an introvert. It's so funny thinking about the energy depletion..... I'm still learning the balance. It's so much more apparent now that we are living together, versus when we were in a relationship. When I'm in the house for days, it drains me, and it energizes him. When, ok IF, we do alot of activities out and about for days in a row, it completely drains his "dealing with extra-ness" battery. I can only be sitting around for a day or so before my "cabin fever" kicks in, lol

Introvert all day! I even had to stay home from school today because my week was so long, hectic and people filled that I felt like I just ran a marathon. Slept from 9pm to 11:30am

I do a lot of stuff by myself or with just a couple friends. But, I'm talkative and silly if I'm comfortable. It all just depends lol.

I'm a major introvert, I schedule my outings very carefully and I am the master of showing my face and slipping out of parties early! I have the same problem finding my dad gifts too, for the first 14 years of my life I was set buying him ties till I found out he hated every tie we bought him now I just get him amazon cards.
i am a true, to the bone, extrovert, and i am very jealous (not entirely, i understand apprehension in social situations is not an ideal way to live or be) but i mean im seen as just very air-headed and not worth getting to know bc its as if i put my whole self out there already, ppl tend to think less of extroverts, i am very guilty of this, and introverts just seems so deep and calm and chill, like, and i have no chill?? so introverts are the coolest, truly the coolest, i want everyone to understand that, no one's superior to the others, but it's awesome to hear how different ppl feel in diff situations

Introvert. I can't do big crowds, but i love to go out with some friends, so when I do, I need a few days alone to recuperate and get some energy back. Being around more than 4 people usually makes me feel a little stressed and exhausted. I am shy, and I'm not big on being the first person to introduce myself to new people.

Ahh you make me laugh so much :D I think I'm an extrovert, going by what you said. I love being around people, but it can take me a while to feel comfortable to "be myself".
I'm REALLY introverted and shy but I will hit the "on" button when I'm around friends or working or in retail situations. But it is exhausting. There's a definite time limit on my outgoing persona. By the time I get home, I have "0" personality left for my family. I'm truly happy in my own space and by myself for very long and extended periods.

I'm introverted until I'm around other introverts who might be hesitant to talk or something. Then things seem awkward so I'll try to start some kind of conversation. Maybe it's a bit presumptuous but I figure most people want to talk to others but many might not know how...myself included. I try to take it from an angle of empathy, as I've definitely been there and am still there! But I feel good when I can get someone to lower their guard and relax :)
Vice versa though, I also like it when I manage to find someone that's okay when I don't feel like talking. I used to have a woman that'd come sit with me for lunch at work and I was happy she wanted to sit with me as I rarely talked to anyone. I also let it be known that whatever was said to me would never be repeated as I don't like drama. Yes, she would air her woes to me and I'd try to come up with solutions. But other times, we'd just have pockets of silence. Lunch is my essential recharge time so I can finish work so I definitely enjoyed the silence but I can't lie and say it didn't feel good to have someone to talk with if I wanted to :)
Introvert more so than extrovert. My boyfriend always want me to go outside. He's always out and about while I Netflix-n-Chill. I'd rather go out late or super early to run errands when I assume less people will
