At first we see how one of the sickest patients in Norway Bjørnar live. He has never seen an iPhone, nor has he used Facebook. He came sick with ME at the age of 25. After being bedridden for a decade he recently turned 40.
Then theres an interview with with dr. Fluge from Haukeland University Hospital about their latest research on metabolics. He also mentions their two studies on rituximab and cyclophosphamide.
"A new study, partly funded by the Kavli Trust, suggests that the PDH enzyme is inhibited in ME/CFS patients, which may explain both energy shortage and increased lactate production in these patients. These findings have now been published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation Insight."

Norwegians should be proud. There are so few countries properly researching this illness, but the number of sick patients around the world is staggering. The advancements Dr. Fluga, Dr. Mella and their team have made, helps millions of people around the world. Thank you.

I really like how they approached ME/CFS in this segment. They show the true horrors of this illness and Dr Fluge was very clear and concise while saying everything that needed to be said.

Thank you so much for sharing, Jan. A wonderful interview with Dr. Fluge, and very encouraging. I am also glad that he made the distinction between fatigue and ME[ and all of the many symptoms of ME...]

nice to see the humbleness of doctors in Norway they do not think themselves as being God as it is in Israel , no humbleness here , shame on them , medicine is not mathematics

  • @cfsmehelpfulhandchannel9003

And yes the doctor is right your body is infected because of bacterial in your body. For some risons just 20% procent of the food giving you energy durging CFS other food slowing you down make you tired its like y you woud not eat nothing like woud skip up the meal and with sleep problems you are tired permamently for very long time and you immune system is very weak. You sleeping less and eating more mainly sugar, fast food all bed things. You need to get back balance i your body and never again doing more acitities like resting for more like 4-6 weeks then your body forgetting how to rest and the problems starts from there.
