I followed Dhar Mann since when he started making videos in his apartment. These were tiny skits. I feel that everything changed when he was able to get his studios. The content changed, they became unrealistic and he started hiring other actors. I stopped watching his videos.
I support all the actors HOWEVER i do think that totally studios did copy dhar mann bc the thumbnail is quite similar (the blue and white texts, and most ppl will connect that w dhar mann). and since dhar mann is more popular, totally studios uses that as a trick to gain more views. just my opinion :)

That’s not the reason (partly). another actor explained the main issues in 5 minutes but it was a combination of things like it isn’t a employment contract, they book actors for more days then necessary (and they don’t get paid for all the days they are asked for even if they aren’t used), dhar won’t have a meeting in person (himself) with the actors and keeps avoiding it. Along with other things.

If you don't have a contact with Dhar Mann, you're not an employee so when they contact you to offer you an acting job, if you're not happy with the pay and the working conditions, why do you accept to work for him? 🤔 Yeah I know he's super rich and ideally you'd like him to pay you more because of this, but if you feel this way, why have you been working for him for 4 years? When people like Mair started, Dhar was starting out with something fairly unique. The environment was probably happy and everyone worked together to make it be one of the best channels out there, but it sounds like Dhar started throwing everyone under the bus as he started to rake in the money and demanding the actors especially to remember who "made" them. There are many channels out there now, but for these guys, popular as they are, they aren't going to always automatically be hired and in the meantime, they still have bills to pay. Some work, even in toxic environments, may feel better than no work at all. Best of luck to the actors who are being forgotten by Dhar.

Each time the episode he is in is shown anywhere in the world, he gets paid a residual until his contract is completely filled. $34.00 per hour is a lot of money? Maybe if you live in Puerto Rico, but it sure as hell isn't going far in Los Angeles or any other city in California. And that $34.00 is probably for an hour or two a week and the rest on a sliding scale. In other words, are they getting paid while under make-up or readings? Or are they just being paid while in front of the camera? Let me put it this way, WalMart is one of the biggest employers in America. They make billions of dollars per year. Most of their employees get food stamps because they are so poorly paid. Walmart was even called out for asking customers to donate food for Thanksgiving to their employees. Dhar Mann is where he is because of riding on the coat tails of others. He is now being called out for it. Let's hope his next group of actors KNOW to watch out for his crappy business practices.
Wow the crafts table is a joke. I have working in films. It mostly college films or small products. I mostly do costume design and I have work on the crafts table. My I was incharge of food. My directors always told me get veggie/fruit platter. Along with meat platter. Along with breakfast option like coffee, bagels, and etc. Another places I haven't been incharged of crafts. There always a lot of options other than chips. There was fruit veggies, and etc. Let me remind u I have work in small production or college films, who many directors don't have the money dhar mann has. Plus one of my directors was aganist of having any type of junk food, honestly if it was for props or final filming day. She said having snacks like chips, crackers, or sweets will affect actors performance. Since those foods can get addicting and will make u hungry.

If you don't have a contact with Dhar Mann, you're not an employee so when they contact you to offer you an acting job, if you're not happy with the pay and the working conditions, why do you accept to work for him? 🤔 Yeah I know he's super rich and ideally you'd like him to pay you more because of this, but if you feel this way, why have you been working for him for 4 years? It doesn't make sense to me, sorry.

@@777uza Promises made, none of them kept, maybe? The reality is, like Hollywood, CZcams acting gigs are few and far between and the competition is stiff. When people like Mair started, Dhar was starting out with something fairly unique. The environment was probably happy and everyone worked together to make it be one of the best channels out there, but it sounds like Dhar started throwing everyone under the bus as he started to rake in the money and demanding the actors especially to remember who "made" them. There are many channels out there now, but for these guys, popular as they are, they aren't going to always automatically be hired and in the meantime, they still have bills to pay. Some work, even in toxic environments, may feel better than no work at all. Best of luck to the actors who are being forgotten by Dhar.

They're D class actors asking for a B class actor pay to make a living out of the few jobs they're being offered by Dhar Man and WHY??? Some of us have to work 2 or 3 jobs to pay our rent and bills, that's just how it goes. And $34/hours is a lot lot more than what a lot of people are making. And now they're starting to cry that Dhar Mann is not going to employ them??!! Really?????
And yes they helped Dhar Man getting where he is but this was HIS dream, not theirs! His success got the actors exposure to get more work elsewhere but "oh no, never mind working hard like any other actor, let's just harass Dhar Mann and hurt his business to get easy money?". It's ridiculous!
In a few weeks they'll be complaining that no one wants to offer them any job and they'll blame Dhar Mann for it. But the truth is, if I had a studio, I would not hire someone who will expect huge pay for odd jobs knowing that they'll hurt my business if they're not getting what they want.

@@777uza I have a friend who is a c/d list actor. He made a guest appearance on Fraiser. 20 + years later, he's still getting residual checks. Why? Because that's how it works. Each time the episode he is in is shown anywhere in the world, he gets paid a residual until his contract is completely filled. $34.00 per hour is a lot of money? Maybe if you live in Puerto Rico, but it sure as hell isn't going far in Los Angeles or any other city in California. And that $34.00 is probably for an hour or two a week and the rest on a sliding scale. In other words, are they getting paid while under make-up or readings? Or are they just being paid while in front of the camera? Let me put it this way, WalMart is one of the biggest employers in America. They make billions of dollars per year. Most of their employees get food stamps because they are so poorly paid. Walmart was even called out for asking customers to donate food for Thanksgiving to their employees. Dhar Mann is where he is because of riding on the coat tails of others. He is now being called out for it. Let's hope his next group of actors KNOW to watch out for his crappy business practices.

Wow the crafts table is a joke. I have working in films. It mostly college films or small products. I mostly do costume design and I have work on the crafts table. My I was incharge of food. My directors always told me get veggie/fruit platter. Along with meat platter. Along with breakfast option like coffee, bagels, and etc. Another places I haven't been incharged of crafts. There always a lot of options other than chips. There was fruit veggies, and etc. Let me remind u I have work in small production or college films, who many directors don't have the money dhar mann has. Plus one of my directors was aganist of having any type of junk food, honestly if it was for props or final filming day. She said having snacks like chips, crackers, or sweets will affect actors performance. Since those foods can get addicting and will make u hungry.

I just saw a tictoc video in where DHAR MANN stated that "HE DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THOSE SHITTY ACTORS" (that helped him grow his channel) He said that he is worth 17 point something Trillion Dollars and he has 3 Latinas with big booties waiting for him at home. What a low and inconsiderate statement. I pity his girlfriend Laura who has also been there from the beginning and witnessed how he treated his original actors. Why she decided to bare his children out of wedlock is beyond me. I know she is fearful of asking for that hand in marriage for fear that he will leave her big booty behind for one of those other two big booty Latinas. Just as an FYI.. it seems like the two are trying to make up these statements. Actors are paid by the job and that payment is posted in advance. If there was an issue, don't take the job. Why bash people on a public level when you two decided to do this. These two need to grow up. Making public statements against any studio is the fastest way to become black listed. Plus, they look to the right quite a bit- classic sign of lying.
