The Buffalo is a beautiful river-beautifully clear water. It is most fascinating to float it and be able to see all kinds of aquatic critters living below.
@@dukesoutfitters3599 haha yea, officially The Ozark bass is native only to the White River, Sac River, James River, and Pomme de Terre river drainages of Missouri and Arkansas. I am also in the south, about an hour from said Buffalo River 😁 There is the Shadow Bass as well (also a Rock Bass).

@@dukesoutfitters3599 I'm just north of Little Rock. The creeks are fun when we have water. It's possible to catch a 20"er, which is rare, but it keeps us coming back to fish!
We had to do a helicopter rescue from the point of the falls as some dude fell and was in bad shape, At lower water level just up from the falls at hemed in holloow is a large flat rock that is under water in this video, Wild times on the Buffalo We cleared Our tents off the big flat rock so a helo could land and we helped get the dude across the river in a rubber raft on a backboard that the rangers came in on.
Dang man that sounds like an awful situation. A humanizing reminder of how close you are to a bad situation when outdoors. I hope the guy made a full recovery 🙏

Man this was a great video. I could tell you I had a lot of fun. I can tell the only bad part about the trip was the rain. But the float down the river was awesome. Also like the Crocs that you are wearing. I hear they are very comfortable to wear for kayaking. I have to kayak Barefooted 👣. I don't have a pair but I would love to get a pair. I have a buddy who lives in Crocs 24/7 he keeps telling me I need to get a pair. My only problem is I have big very very extremely wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot very very extremely wide. With my toes being straight across and very very fat and wide my foot is 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. They do not make a shoe , sock , or boot that's wide enough for a foot this wide. Which really really sucks because it leaves me to do everything barefooted 👣. I was born with wide feet and played in the neighborhood barefooted 👣 growing up but I never thought I would had to ever live my life as a barefooted 👣person. It it's very very hard to get in stores these days barefooted 👣 great video thank you for sharing.
Sorry I am just now seeing this comment. The rain was cold but it wasn't that bad. I would try the off road sport clogs by Crocs. Definitely the widest shoe I've tried from Crocs. Sorry to hear about your struggles. I imagine that can be really difficult.

I have a Crocs store close by I will go by there this weekend and check them out. Thank you Duke it is definitely a big struggles for me. Yes it is very very difficult , frustrating , embarrassing of having very very extremely wide foot. I have gotten my foot stuck in a sit inside kayak that I was trying out Barefooted 👣 & they almost called 911 come out and cut my foot out of a brand new kayak. One of the salesman there had wide feet too and asked me was these were my flip-flops! I say yes they are! He went and told and showed everybody how wide my foot was off my flip flops because I had a very well-defined Worn out very fat wide 4 toe footprint on the foot bed of my Flip flops & the other one is having people talkin about how fat and wide my toes are and I had a couple of guys take pictures of my foot being in flip-flops because of both of my little toes hang off the footbed of my flip-flops because of my toes being too fat and wide. Very embarrassing and the #1. problem have is when I'm driving my car my foot is so wide that my foot will actually touch the gas pedal and the brake pedal at the same time and this is when I'm driving Barefooted 👣 too. But I do not have this problem when I'm driving my tractor trailer. So yes it is very difficult , frustrating , and embarrassing having very very extremely wide foot with very fat wide toe that are straight across. Again thank you for the information Duke.
