Interesting tidbit of information. Run DMC was using this song as something to rap over, they didn’t know who the artist was or the lyrics to the song. They just rapped over it. Apparently Steven Tyler heard about it and approached them about doing the song and the rest is history

I remember when this came out and people freaked out about mixing groups. I thought it was really cool. It’s a nice bridge between styles.
