Your " assistant" is super sweet and helpful :) What you're doing with her is amazing, keep it up: Thank you for the detailed explanation. No other video has mentioned that last part about the lever not supposed to be pushing on the flush valve! So i dont want the lever to be touching the upper part of the flush valve hole in its shaft? The handle i replaced my old one with is a generic one, seemed to fit. I also replaced every part of the tank with mansfield parts and the feed valve with a fluid master one, balanced the tank using a scale, tightened the bolts well, used a new tank to bowl gasket ...etc...all well no outside leaking. But water is still running into the bowl! I found that the flush handle isn't well placed, I think! When i push the handle down to flush, it takes time to go up again ..why' s that? I would have to use my hand to physically press down on the flush valve shaft - inside the tank - to apply pressure on this red ring so the water running into the bowl would stop. Any help please? Thank you

It depends on the parts. If the arm is pushing upwards on the valve when in its resting position, you may need to make an adjustment. If you’re toilet doesn’t run after flushing, then you’re
      probably ok

That little white disc on the top actually unscrews make easier access to take the handle out. Otherwise you could damage the flush tower

The handle on this toilet has to be pushed hard!

yea. that flush valve can create some suction. there is a universal kit with a flap that fits Mansfield that’s far easier to flush. Maybe I’ll do a video in that
