As much as I like Terry memes, I have to clear something up: Terry is talking about the *depiction* of the elephant. It's realistic because it has correct proportion and eye color for an elephant. The second one is unrealistic (or "better than realism") because it's more cartoonish with bigger head and unnatural eye color. I swear people on the internet think everything in video game terms these days. They hear the term "realistic" and their mind immediately goes to graphics quality.

Now, Terry made each line of code using his own programming language, no 3rd party stuff. All of it. The entirety of temple OS. Terry said he was the best programmer in the world, and it sure seemed like it. But, Terry stopped taking his meds and his mental health deteriorated, becoming more willing to hurl slurs, then his parents came to an agreement after arguing. If Terry stopped taking his meds, they would kick him out. Not bending to his parents, Terry became homeless, being helped by his fans. Then sadly, he was killed one night while walking on railroad tracks. A train hit him, killing him milliseconds after turning around to see it. Well, there it is. Basically he was heavily religious, had schizophrenia, but was also a genius who made his own OS from scratch and programmed games like these himself, with no other framework. It's genuinely impressive to see his work, and it makes it all the more crushing to know his mental health degraded so heavily over time until he was no longer able to use his own OS. On August 11, 2018, he took his own life stepping in front of a train. If you're struggling with mental illness or suicidal thoughts, know you are not alone, and that help is always out there.

Wow. That was a journey. I clicked this thinking it was going to be another meme video but dang - this is one deep iceberg.

Was his life sad? For sure. He didn't deserve what happened to him. But the dude was far, FAR from being a pure lil cinnamon roll. Just because someone struggled with mental health doesn't automatically make them an angel
exactly. i do feel bad for him as someone who suffers similar mental health issues but he was by no means a good person. he constantly said slurs, attacked his father, and more. he was a bad person who has a shitty life.
He was never given any therapy for his mental problems nor for his behavioral problems, it could have all been avoided but his parents decided they really didn't give a shit about him, ended up with Terry as he was before he passed. At least he is not suffering anymore.
If he was given treatment Terry would not be a racist asshole people say he is, Society did terry dirty, all of this could be avoided
