However, that hasn't come without Activision cancelling certain Call of Duty titles that were in development at one point or another over the years. We have 10 Cancelled Call of Duty Games to go over in this video, including Advanced Warfare 2 from Sledgehammer Games and a Call of Duty Zombies Standalone game from Raven Software. Tbh I wish we got Future Warfare instead of Ghosts, especially if the campaign wouldn’t have ended on a cliffhanger that IW/Activision had no intention to finish.
Warzone really ruined this franchise, it’s really a shame MW2R: MP got stripped for maps for MWIII, and that MW3R probably won’t ever come out.
BO1 and BO2 Remasters definitely should have existed too. 😢

Future warfare looks like a good concept and it makes more sense why we got aliens in ghosts now
They need to bring this back not gonna lie. Treyarch should stick to Zombies and the other studios make a story line of Extinction. MILLION DOLLAR IDEA if they would put it to work the Right way. They never listen to what we want though

Looking at the 2011 graphics, its amazing how little we have advanced lol. Especially COD with its same ass engine they just keep updating.

I'm convinced the ripper and maverick from ghosts were for future warfare. I always wondered why ghosts started in space
yeah i have no doubt the aliens from extinction were also probably re-used assets
I heard that they wanted a space level in MW2 2009, that's why the satellite was in the base. But they veteoed the idea of a space level as too unrealistic.

15:22 Interesting that Activision turned down a sequel back then because it was basically just a DLC instead of a true sequel, but yet here we are with MW23 😂

Who knows what the cod franchise would be like if even one of these cancelled games were green lit and released? And whilst we all have a good idea what the next cod games will be, who knows if there are any other cancelled cods we never knew about?

I would love to see a stand alone COD zombies game as zombies is the only reason I've bought any COD games, but it would have to be developed by treyarch otherwise it wouldn't be as good.

The worst decision that Treyarch decided is cancel zombies standalone game awful decision.
I would've been interested in that COD: Devils Brigade game just for it being 3rd person.

Ya know what’s even strange? I thought all of these Call of Duty games were already released before cus Ik how massive the Call of Duty franchise is but I haven’t realized that they’ve never been released or never really existed at all, this is just one of many of the Mandela Effect

We don't need advance warfare 2 the mp was trash and the movement was the worst, weapon variants was OK I don't mind but if we get a sequel it should just be zombies sequel because that was a good zombies story

Advanced Warfare was so hated and honestly i really really disagree. I would LOVE and i mean absolutely LOVE AWII. The story is 9.9/10 and the mechanics were completely different which is a really fun change and more logical. because a real soldier would carry about 4 or 5 mags for their AR but in CoD you are carrying a stockpile of ammo. all whilst your 'operator' can move at the speed of light. AW makes more sense as with the exo-suit you'd feel waaaaaay less weight and makes quick movement logical.
id personally take aw2 over modern warfare 2022 and 2023, just anything but another modern warfare or world war 2 game please lol

And there is nothing wrong with that. Do they really need to make a new animation for the same sets of guns? I’m fine with the basic 1911M reload that has been used in every cod game.
