Now it seems the trust are asking for face to face interviews instead of organising an online for thoze outside of the Uk. So far i know midwives who have gotten an invitation for interview but all the hospitals are demanding for a face to face m, even after they told the hospital and trust they not currently in the uk and would appreciate if the interviews can be done onlie the trust says that is not possible.

That’s lovely, it wasn’t when or where I trained as what we used wasn’t printing. We just use it to get the sounds of the FH. I understand some private hospitals are using it now and it’s so amazing to hear. This video was made last year.

So as an immigrant, how did you get into midwifery? Can I just apply to any university with my senior high school results, or in my case I have a first degree, can I simply use that to apply

Filling the bladder with saline to displaced the bladder from the pelvic cavity and relieve pressure from the cord

Yes
Provided you've registered with NMC as a midwife
Otherwise you won't be granted the midwife job without the pin

But u will need top up before u can work as midwife in Canada
U can apply for jobs that doesn’t guarantee that you will be given that job
