It brought tears to my eyes to see Wes and Marsh singing together again. Not only does their faith ring so clearly with every note, you can see the bonds of their friendship and I think it makes the song all the more beautiful. after listening and watching the other version of this song, I can't appreciate this video recording. He's got those frowning eyes. With the other video, I am so inspired.
I had watched and listened to both versions and I belive both are great... About his frowning eyes, I think it's very normal for some one who is singing with his heart, anything can happen with your face (or your body) when you sing with your heart... I love both Marshall Hall and Wes Hampton, they are both charismatic when they are singing :-)
Jan Simarmata Here, Wes looks a little Chucky-ish (that horrific baby in the movies). He sort of looks different, too. I can't tell if he did something to his eyebrows or hair but I'm not feelin' THIS. He lifts his hand when singing. I'm not feeling that. It's not really a duet. If so, give Marshall a verse. I can tell you after I heard the other version, I listened to and watched it, maybe eight times straight. They are not equal videos. Now, to what you said. He was singing from his heart in the other video. Maybe in the other video, he was more relaxed and his voice was in the pocket with no effort. I'll give him that. Finally, I really don't like how Wes has to push his high notes from his throat. I was compassionate to bypass that in the other video but not here. Oh, when a tenor has those notes effortlessly, with bel canto technique, maybe, that song is ANGELIC.

I've seen a couple of videos surfing youtube in which i've seen wes and marshall singing as a duet such as this video, my question is: before the sing at GVB were they working together as duet?? or is it just a coincidence?? somebody??
