- Just a little day in my life. We went to the store to get some corn to start feeding the wild animals around the homestead and hopefully bring more of them in the yard. We cooked a steak and shrimp dinner. Thanks for watching!

Great video, I use a garbage can to keep my wild bird seed. For frozen pizza give Screamin Sicilian Za Brewski pizzas. They incorporate Leinenkugel beer in the crust. Delicious !!

Pizza Pan should be in the housewares section of any big box. I like having a pizza stone, because it helps from burning the bottom of the crust. If you want corn for the animals, consider planting some feed corn (sweet corn too) in your garden.

Now that’s the life, no bills so you can afford 250 pounds of feed just for fun! I love feeding the possums where I live. Even caught a glimpse of an Albino one that was HUGE!

do cracked corn. most animals can digest whole corn. the deer and the chickens will get more nutrition out of cracked or rolled corn. (smaller particles = more digestable)

@@matthewmccune well, makes sense that cracked corn would be better. Good advice for them! Corn does help chickens stay warmer in cold weather, so I have heard.

I love that you feed the wild animals💓 I do too. I feed the deer apples, blueberries, acorns, ground up nuts. I feed the wild birds a fruit and nut mix seed, the squirrels and chipmunks eat the bird seed as well. I love them all!
I use the same can for the same purpose. Have Kyle put a couple dabs of silicone sealant under lid where handle is crimped on. Keeps rain from dripping in around handle. I had water drip in, making wet spots in my feed. Soon your wild visitors will become regulars to your outdoor diner!

This is a hunting trick to make the corn last, using cracked corn. Take a bag & spread it out in a wide 10-20ft circle/ring. As the deer come to feed they'll stand on it, spreading it around further. It makes it last longer and typically helps feed more than just deer in one area.

I’m a retired milkman in R⚓️I that delivered milk in glass returnable bottles to peoples homes. Best milk 🥛 comes in glass bottles. Save that bottle & cap for using as a lemonade container in summer time. To clean bottle, just soak it in hot water (not boiling) same with cap
When I was in primary school, had to walk 3km to school, a very kind milk man always would like offer us a ride ( horse cart ), unforgettable experiences......

You guys sure can put away some brussel sprouts lol 😆. You’re going to have to grow your own patch of them this year. The steak and shrimp looked delicious. One of my favorite meals. Should have done baked potatoes in foil on the grill instead. You could have made Kyle cook everything hehe 😉. I boil them for 20-25 minutes, put on foil, slice them (length or sideways.. doesn’t matter), stuff with butter and onions, smear some sour cream on top, wrap em up, and grill for about 45-60 minutes depending on the size. You guys will love them and very little mess. Hope your weekend goes well 👍

I make a tray from aluminum foil to prevent pizza from spilling down into the stove. Or you can use a cookie sheet.

Just a thought - might be a good idea to tie the garbage can to the tree, to prevent large animals from tipping it over. Also bungee cord from handle to handle over the lid and under the lid handle, to keep it from being flipped off.

Have you guys checked out Brownville Deer Pantry in Maine. It's amazing! I know you guys mean well and bought the corn but it offers little in nutrition and is usually used to bait deer. they suggest oats are much better for the deer if that is you want to feed the deer. Love your channel!!

I used to keep chicken feed in a can like that. The problem is the humidity. The can can make water and ruin the entire contents. Keep an eye on it.

The corn is not 100% dry, or will not stay 100% dry, so it will start to mold at some point if not used.
you guys should try to grind that corn before feeding the chickens, seems like a lot to swallow.
