I don't know if ever I can see these rare beautiful gold coins
Glad you enjoyed the video then 😁👍 -CC
What a fabulous coin the piedfort , but out of normal collectors pockets. Thanks BCC and 1970
Yes sadly out of my price range too hahaha! But it was lovely to see it 😁👍 -CC
Great video again, and loving all the history
Thank you! -CC
Thank you Christopher for showing us this lovely rare gold set of Coins 👍 🪙
Thank for tuning in 😁👍 -CC
The Royal Mint's 2022 Piedfort Gold Proof Sovereign coins were released on Thursday 25 August 2022 with a limited mintage of 3,250 coins priced at £1,185.00 each.
👍
The distinction between the Royal Mint's 2022 Piedfort Gold Proof Sovereign Pattern coins versus their Piedfort Gold Proof Sovereign coins is that the piedfort Pattern coins have a plain smooth edge @ 5:38 whereas their piedfort sovereign coins have a milled reeded edge.
I have a 1980 sovereign
A 1992 half sovereign
A 2022 quarter sovereign
Now I need a double sovereign
Great video as always
Very nice! -CC
Excellent Set of Coins Christopher glad we got the chance to see them thanks to You and BCC :)
Glad you liked the video 😁👍 -CC
Suvereign coins🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Glad you liked them! -CC
Great video. I have two Gold Sovereigns👌👍
Oh very nice! -CC
Lovely collection. Year 1964 sovereign please😎
Thanks! That would be a nice one to have! -CC
A outstanding set of coins with lovely intricate details.
Great stuff Christopher & BCC 👍🏻
Glad you liked it! The set was amazing to record
What beautiful coins Christopher. An excellent video 😊
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! -CC
Very interesting coins. However, the crowned lion and the unicorn are not holding aloft the shield of England but supporting it (which is the proper heraldic term).
Thanks for the feedback 😁👍 -CC
I've got 3 sovereigns from 1996,1997 and 1999
Oh very nice!
I LIKE THOSE THICC COINS UNO KEEP IT UP
Thanks 😁👍 -CC
Enjoyed that cheers, will many go on sale to the public, do u spend enough to be on the list 😀
I am not on the list sadly hahaha! My pockets aren't that deep 🤣 -CC
Such beautiful coins. The only Sovereign I have is a 1983 half
Oh very nice! -CC
Gold, low mintage, pattern means that is really expensive.
Hahaha certainly does! But a beautiful set to have too 😆👍
So, err....what might that price tag be then Christopher?
A rather large one 🤣 -CC
What's the difference between proof and piedford?
A piedfot coin is one that is double the thickness of a standard coin. Proof is the standard that a coin is struck too.
These are the next giveaway, right? :D
I thought the smallest one was a quarter rather than a tenth of a sovereign.
Hahaha! I think I'd be in trouble if I did that 🤣 -CC
Doesn't this have the same kind of cameo of the normal proof set ?
I believe so 😁👍 -CC
