This interview was a breath of fresh air....I have Love fashion, design and mfg. from a little girl...to here younger women speak ....in regards to pricing i.e. quantity over quality....many of the brands are losing site of this😢...awesome podcast❤

So agree with Jenee’s take on the Kardashians. This is why I don’t shop their brands. Although I think Good American and Skims are on brand and make sense for their branding. Kylie just never seems to be really into it.

Watching this podcast gave me chills. Everything Janee expressed about high-end luxury brands collaboration with huge franchise companies sickening me. Their on the fast fashion Era.
LOVE THIS EPISODE! Agree both brands didn’t do the BEST job at differentiating the quality at its price point in collabs vs. main line. If accessibility was the goal, that should’ve been pushed from the beginning. They both could’ve saved face and used that as an out here. Especially when everyone is embracing fashion nowadays. HM has done collabs with luxury brands before so I’m sure they were very happy with the quality delivered.

As for Copenhagen, it's quite a laid back place. I've been back and forth, almost annually, since the early 70s, starting as a teen. It's like a second home. I used to spend whole summers there solo and was last there in summer 2019.
The Copenhagen vibe is quite friendly. When Copenhagen Fashion Week started back around 2006, it raised an eye for me as personally, it was never a fashion place in my eye. None of my Danish friends were so-called fashionable over the decades. It was more of function over fashion as one biked through pouring rain and high winds. I used to jump on the train and head to Paris, Italy, and Belgium to do my serious fashion shopping and then head back up to Copenhagen for the rest of the summer before flying home to L.A. However, traditional Scandinavian-style fashion in Copenhagen was quite good. I'm glad that Copenhagen Fashion Week is doing so well and that there's such diversity.
I cracked up laughing when you asked to compare NYC/Milan/Paris fashion weeks. LOL!
Now, to get out of bed and get fashionable before heading outside into this fabulous sunshine and warmth. Smiles.

Just bc you feel bamboozled does not mean the rest of us should not be able to enjoy a designer product at a just price. All designer items are inflated so let the rest of us enjoy i when we can. This sounds like a mental thing in telling yourselves it"s better bc it costs so much and therefore I'm better.
