I know you are concerned about the hay moisture in the bags and I would be also. But you were kind of forced into it with the rains and hay on The ground. You had to give it a try anyway. Hopefully you can salvage most of it. Doing the best you can with it. Hang in there. Will be interesting to see how it is when you go to use it for feeding. Let us know how it goes. These super hot days be careful. Drink plenty of fluids. Easy on the solids. Glad the super trucker could help haul the wagons. With all that moisture I bet those wagons were heavy pulling. We use the quick hitches for the wagons & tractors. That allows you to release a wagon and hook up the next wagon without getting off the tractor. It’s very easy for the chopper to hook up without anyone assisting. It’s just saves some much time and you back up and trailer latches and your off. A little expense at first But we’ll worth it.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Bags are like any other storage if you put it in to wet it's going to be junk. I put a small amount up that looked like that and ended up spreading it back on the field later.
When we used bags, we always used a bucket with grapple, but that's the only style of buckets we had at the time. The bags were on dirt, so with a wheeled skidsteer, it was not overly fun with muddy conditions. But at the time, it was common for a few skidsteer owners to have a set of steel tracks that went over the tires. Ive been told that the steel tracks do not work very well in snow/ice conditions.
Take spray paint and mark on your bags where you change fields or have large moisture changes. It will help to know when you need to recheck moisture and adjust the ration. Will help out when the mixer comes. Keep your eye out for a used Koster tester (forage moisture tester).
For Kip, I know I left a comment a few videos ago about possibly doing a silage pad all in one pour. After thinking about, you missed be better to do two different pours. What i mean is that if you might need to do east half and west half or however being you need a fair amount of feed on hand and depending on when you're ready to pour. Unless a decision is made to put the wet feed in a different spot than where the bags are currently located.
Be sure to update us on the quality of this feed when it comes time to feed it out. I agree with the other commenters. It's quite a bit wetter than what is ideal. Might have to blend it with some nicer haylage at feed out time to avoid digestive problems. Good luck to you. I made balage out of some alfalfa plenty wet a couple weeks ago to beat a rain. You gotta do it sometimes.

I'm from Scotland and many a time we made silage straight from cut with no wilting time because of the weather. A lot of juice in the bag when come time to use, smelly stuff. A couple more things Kip, you have big projects ahead and I thought you might have run a continental bull to generate more income for your big projects. Q why has a cow got a long face. A. I have bagged that wet for a few loads .It will be fine if need be just blend that spot in with heavy corn silage for youngstock just make sure you dont feed that bag in cold weather it will be a frozen ice block

Looks like Mountain supply has replacement spools for Ag Baggers. You may be able to just replace the existing spool for a bigger spool for more cable. Be worth checking out if it’s not too expensive to replace them. Second cutting is looking like choice feed for the cows.

. Hi Kip. Had a set of over the tire rubber tracks on a skid steer for loading feed out of bags. Worked great for buoyancy but you had to keep them super tight or the tires would spin inside them, which was terrible on the wheel bearings. Know some people with track loaders but hear they are high maintenance.
I gag bagged for my Cousin and her Hubby in mid 2000s. They had a GagBagger with a 300-6 Ford single barrel on it. 17 gallons of gas on average for a 200' bag.
I wouldn't be too worried about that moisture. You'll just have to mix it with equal proportion of dryer stuff in the ration this winter, do not feed only that and you'll be fine. Remember that sometimes we do corn silage wetter than that. I once saw a frickin' flood under the bagger in corn and it went ok. I prefer my silage a bit too wet than too dry
100% ?! Maybe ya'll need to recalibrate your meter. The moisture content of standing hay varies from 65-85% Only a jar full of pure water is 100% moisture.
I can't see why wet tubes can't have secure windows opened at the top to let them dry out if the weather permits. Or maybe take out as much as you need a day or two before it's eaten & put it in a pile to let it dry out. Lots of farmers watched their entire hay crops destroyed by rain & they are wiped out completely. Even if you piled the wet hay onto the gravel & let it dry out you wouldn't lose much. There's also vents you can get to let the gasses out of the tubes. It's all work but that's what life is meant for. Most folk sit in their box houses all day watching TV & never do any work their entire lives. It shouldn't be too much hassle to dry it all out if you have plenty of dry weather.
I wonder if you will run out of room to turn around? Seems like maybe next time if you had a lane around both sides and the end you could better utilize the space for when you have even more bags later on. or maybe you can do that after the corn gets chopped. either way keep learning!
100% moisture is impossible. 100% moisture would be pure water with no solid material in it. You may have bagged it when it was 100% green with no drying time, but that is not the same as 100% moisture.

It's hateful trying to bag to wet. I have thrown dry bales of hay in to keep the bagger from puking. Wasn't ideal, but it worked.
When it's in a dry period of time, the alfalfa can be at 70% freshly cut

I would recommend a Roto-press bagger, They take the feed as fast as you can get it off the wagon. Auger style no fingers like the Ag bagger.

The robot feeding would not work very well for how they are setup to feed.

You could try to loosen the haylage with the backhoe . We always used a skidsteer had to have teeth to loosen the feed.
