This is why you're the best.
Always trying to be the guy I'd like to watch, thanks as always!
You clearly were sick, and had to make a video. Not sure if you are crazy, or just love what you do, & hate sitting idle like me. Most of it was editing, but I appreciate the vid.🙏🇨🇦👊🏻👨🏻🌾💖
Great video!
for the first day of spring, I was able to get out and give my south facing yard a good raking and even ran the mower over it(with bag on) just to give it a good fluff and clean up ...yay!
That's an awesome feeling after a full winter! 😃
29:00 - Mesotrione (Tenacity) is a safe pre-emergent to use when (over)seeding cool-season grasses.
These are great tidbits!
Definitely is especially if it's used in 3-week increments while baby grass grows up a bit. Somewhere around day 60-90 a regular PE can then be used to get the rest of tge way through spring and summer.
@Turf Mechanic I spoke too soon, my bad; I see later in the vid you do thoroughly mention Mesotrione for seeding
@@mablenay hehe, it's a long video, most people don't get that far in. 😆 👊
Epic!
Yeah! :D
I'll watch this in sections as you suggested. Thank you. Your into looks like you may have a cold going? If so get well. If not stay well:)
Thanks Martin, I do have a bad one right now, trying to take time off in increments. I've had it for 7 days now and feel like it's got a ways to go still. It'll pass eventually, parents never get a day off. 😅
Thank you for teaching me to build my soil by adding organic matter. Is alfalfa pellets ground in my blender to add to my lawn the same as alfalfa meal? alfalfa meal costs almost 3 times as alfalfa pellets.
great work maestro!
Yay!! Thanks a bunch Jing!
So I can use greenhouse plastic after I spread my seed? I'm hoping to keep the neighbors cat from digging into it. I think I remember you saying we can water over top of it without removing it.
You can water through crop cover which is a porous cloth, greenhouse plastic will help warm everything up, like a greenhouse but you can't water through it. Crop cover you can water without removing it so long as it's flat on tge ground and not billowing. It also helps enormously to have the seed well covered by peat moss otherwise the seed could stick to the cover between watering. It does stop animal disturbance in its tracks though.
