I did a full on art gallery with mannequins and paintings, statures, etc, all that, got 1500. Really hit or miss this week man.

Your first account submission may have been off theme but I love how Eric's statue creates a silhouette in front of the sub. Looks great. As for the second account I think it looks good too and could have ranked higher. Well I hope you get 4k next challenge 🌠
As pretty as your dreamsnaps were I just don’t think it was super on theme and I don’t think that was an algorithm problem

I got 1500 but I'm happy with it because I honestly didn't try hard. I just added a couple of things to a room corner I had already set up. ❤
They are both very beautiful pictures, I especially liked the 2nd account one!🤩 But.. they weren't exactly art galleries. But then again I did make an art gallery and it also only got 1500 ms.😆

I think the results this week might have been affected by the Star Path, both from people just wanting to get the voting tasks done + a lot of random Dreamsnaps submitted for the THREE “submit a Dreamsnap” tasks.
+ it seems like people went crazy with the use of “high value items” for this challenge. So that might have affected the visibly, for people who didn’t flood their photos with the “high value items”
I agree with you. The star path has three duties to submit and one for voting. Dreamsnap submissions have been way up the last two challenges that’s why lower ranks, 7k-ish, are getting 4k moonstones; but I don’t think voting has increased much, so I suspect that’s why results are so swingy and especially unpredictable. I think it might be that way for another challenge or two.
I think you have some good points here.
Just had to say that when I said that I see a lot of “not good/no effort in it” submissions get more then many of those who put a lot effort and time in it, I don’t see them on dreamers portal. Just had to clear that up❤️

I got robbed as well i was so proud at my snap i thought i would end in top 100 but didn't i was so dissapointed that i get discouraged to make any dreamsnap

I got my highest rank this on this week, previously I’ve only received highest 700, and the gallery I made got my rank 200. Was genuinely surprised because I thought it was nice but safe. Looking back on it after a week made me realize it was quite nicer than I thought after working on it for so long 😅

I actually just got my first ever (I think? or maybe second) 4k this week with the art gallery one. I actually spent well over an hour on it and normally I spend fairly little effort on them.
I don’t get why people do selfies for outfit challenges and why people actually vote for them when you can’t see the outfit. Am I wrong?
Because they give you the choice of two side by side selfies

I don't care if it's an outfit or decor challenge when I vote personally. I vote for the best composed picture that fits the theme, and sometimes that's a selfie 🤷🏼♀️ I don't submit them because there are so many people who won't vote for them, but I love well done selfies.
Basically for me, it says "vote for your favorite picture," not "vote for your favorite outfit" or "vote for your favorite decor." So that's what I do. I see the challenge aspect as having to meet the requirements they set and constructing the best photo you can make for the theme within those requirements. I don't vote any differently on outfit/decor.

I been getting $4 K in a row for few weeks. Following the rules of what they ask and the lightning, trying not to use night time because you can’t see it well.
I was happy as the Art Gallery was the second Dreamsnap I ever entered and I got 900 moonstones 😂
I got 1,200 as well 😅 I thought it was very pretty but I guess not good enough.
I had a fun time with this challenge and I got 4k and the best rank I’ve ever gotten. Sorry to all those who didn’t get a great rank and high number of moonstones. Don’t let it get you down. If you made something you can be proud of then that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

Yeah in school artclass it would be "didn't hit the right topic" but getting points for effort. 😄
Although the second account submission was beautiful at first glance it doesn't really give museum or art gallery vibes. I think the Moana paintings kind off throw the picture off too. Maybe a regular painting would have been a better fit for the overall shot. I understand you might not have that furniture item though since it's your second account. You did the best with what you had! I still think it's not a bad result for that picture but I totally understand being disappointed! The stitch-able fashion challenge broke my 4k streak, I was so bummed :( I got 4k for this week though. I'm sure you'll probably get 4k next week :)
Sorry for your scores. I bombed this week too. I can see some of what went wrong. I went indoors. I think the outdoor submissions did better.
The same happened to me. I didn't have 4k on any of my accounts. In one it is deserved but in the other I think they robbed me. 😊
do you think they stifle everyone's moonstones once in a while to up the chance that people buy moonstones? Cuz I feel like we all got decimated this week

Wow, voters were very specific this week. Most photos that didn't look exactly like an art gallery, didn't seem to do well. Lots of beautiful Mulan themed submissions were robbed too. I loved your second photo MrStar, sorry you didn't rank higher.
Mine looked like an art gallery but didn’t do well. Started a 3. account and just submitted me in front of a painting table. That did it better then my main submission I used hours and hours on, and did art gallery.
I got 600... My worst in months, by far. And I'd worked on it at least twice more than my earlier snaps. Don't worry. Something was broken this week... 😂 Maybe ppl only voted for indoor pics with pics on the wall and a museum vibe?

This weeks dreamsnap would be better if we could select the characters we want in the picture and where we place them they stay and do their poses. It’s so much work to round everyone up and lock them in the picture and once you take it off selfie they run out of the picture 😑

My 4k streak was broken last week and this week was a little better than last week.😊😊
I am shocked at your results. Both were fantastic! I guess I can see why people might have thought the first one was off theme, but it was still gorgeous!

MrStarInSky sorry you received low results this week and your 4k main account streak was broken, always a bumming feeling. 👎🏻😐 But I agree, I think your 2nd account matched theme better, but we can’t please all voters and there’s always next week!🤞🏻📸 I think a lot of outdoor snaps didn’t do well because people were expecting indoor museum/gallery type snaps, and while some indoor got lower results, most got higher. And, I’ve been on an up and down results pattern lately, 4k and 1500 and 4k and 1500…so was thinking 4k but got 2500, which I’ll take because it’s better than 1500! 🙂📸
I love your first submission but it just wasn't on theme at all. The 2nd account was a little more on theme but it didn't really have enough paintings to show art gallery. I think people who stuck to the theme scored better. I did get 4k and it was a pretty simple indoor submission with art and repunzel painting
I was a little disappointed this week with my results. I still received 4k, but did not rank as high as I expected. This week was brutal.
