PS5 VS PS4 | Battlefield 2042 | KINDA GROSS!

This video is a comparison of Battlefield 2042 on PS5 VS PS4. I found it really interesting how different the facial hair is on the character models were. I did make the mistake of not removing the hud.

The fact the environments look largely the same in many aspects just goes to show how much EA fucked up by not making the game next gen exclusive. Could've looked incredible. Spearhead and the breakaway rework are a nice uptick in graphical detail, but it's not as breathtaking as your first time loading up BF1

Yeah I can understand that. They would have lost a considerable amount of money especially considering how the game was at launch then if it was only next gen a lot of money would be lost. I don’t see them ever not including last gen consoles unless some major changes happen.

2042 was originally gonna be next gen only. It was the console shortages that forced dice to downgrade some features for the game to be playable on last gen.

Battlefield 4 on PS3 is much better than the current playable state of Battlefield 2042 on PS4

I was talking about this with some friends and I think it’s that the game cost $70. If they released it as a $40 game not many would complain but because it’s a full priced game it should be full priced quality.

Bf4 on ps3 looks and plays the same as the ps4 version tho... only difference is player count in a server

Yeah I felt like the character models look pretty different but the environment seems almost the same.

Yup. I own the ps4 and ps5, your accuracy will be horrible on the ps4 due to the input lag and server tick issues…. Graphics wise the ps4 can some times look similar to the ps5 if you are connecting to a good server… But that doesn’t change how horrible the gameplay is on the ps4… the ps4 simply can’t handle the net code and actual game.

I bought the cross-gen version of Battlefield 2042 on series x which plays the xbox one x version too separately and the way they play performance wise is quite different.

Some of the biggest differences that I noticed while making is the hair on the characters especially facial hair and particle effects.

La verdad es que me esperaba más diferencia, se ven los rasgos pequeños más perfilados en la 5, pero si no te ponen cuál es cuando se está ejecutando el juego, te tienes que fijar en los reflejos en las líneas, no es fácil acertar, vamos que no es para hacerle la ola. Tendrá que estar la diferencia en otros detalles, en lo que es imagen poca.

My Xbox One X looks pretty much the same graphically on BF2042 as the new gen consoles. I'm assuming they are more capable with FPS and such though

It's completely unplayable on ps4. I have ps5 and if you own the ps4 version it's the same thing. But if you update it. Then yeah.

Yall can say whatever u want about bf2042 but.... gameplay wise its pretty fun. I wouldnt pay 70 bucks for it tho but if could get it around 30 bucks its well worth it...
And tbh every battlefield game that has come out since bf3 had the same problem... everyone was and still is like F ea and they bad devs and they be saying it since 2011.... LMAO come on guys pls... its not like other AAA companies are doing any better at the moment.. xD bf3 also had alot of bugs at launch, so did bf4. Every battlefield had the same hate going over it.... ahhh too little content and that may be true. But look at bf1.. and dont say yo that game has the best atmosphere this and that... i mean look at weapons list... you get a weapon 1 weapon with 3 different versions.. 1 trench 2 scout 3 support stuf like that but all in one class. They updated it very late in its life cycle cuz in the first few days of release everyone already unlocked everything in the game LMAO... i had less then 30 hours in the game and i already unlocked everything in bf1 until they later updated it
