West Midlands Metro: Black Lake turnbacks on Thursday 16th May 2024

Thursday 16th May 2024 was the final day of the blockade on West Midlands Metro between Black Lake and Edgbaston Village, trams operating only between Wolverhampton Station and Black Lake even though the information screens and the audio announcements claimed the trams were still going through to Edgbaston.
Trams we saw were: 38 39 40 44AD 47 50 53 54 56
Some trams left Black Lake still showing "Black Lake", some with "Not in service" and some with "W'ton Station".
It was all very confusing for the customers waiting.
