Truth. Shows who you really are
Truly shape and fashion these;
Leave no yawning gaps between;
Think not, because no man sees,
Such things will remain unseen.
In the elder days of Art,
Builders wrought with greatest care
Each minute and unseen part;
For the gods see everywhere.
Amen brother

I enjoyed your sea stories. I graduated Class 99 (Oct '78). I was a 32 yo Ensign so I was an old guy to my classmates. I laughed my ass off at your completely accurate description of the San Clemente cactus. During the FTX (Final Training eXercise), my squad was moving down a gully near Wilson's Cove. I stumbled and fell full stretch into one of those cactus patches. My guys pulled me out and we finished the op and the 7-mile patrol back to camp. My squadmates then had a fun time pulling over 500 cactus spines out of me. I had completely forgotten about that until your 3rd phase story. Hooyah 99. But the way, I served with Al Huey in UDT 11. He was a Senior Chief at was about to retire with 38 years of service. A real legend.
Awsome! Thanks for sharing!
thank you for your service
WOW ... I could listen to your stories for days and days !!! Sadly I'm hitting 73 and I wish that I could have become one of your personal friends but that's not in the cards !!! I truly hope that the people lucky enough to be close to you can understand and appreciate how unique and special you are !!! God Bless you for all that you have done and for what you continue to do for this Country and it's Constitution !!!

So proud that my country has such brave, strong men. I mean mentally tough also. My nephew tried for Navy Seals but there was something wrong with his hips and he couldn’t do it. He was in every sport there is since he was about 6 years old, but came from a rich family and never had to face any hardship. From your videos I can see why he would struggle. I am 56 year old female but you are inspiring me to find ways to work mental and physical toughness training into my life. Thanks to all our military out there, vets and still serving.
Stop living vicariously through others. Why are you talking about your family in public forums to get likes?
Thank you for sharing that. Idk what @donramanayake1505 deal is. Being dramatic about someone else’s comments about their thoughts and experiences is really pathetic.
Hardship comes in many forms; no one gets a free pass. "All comparisons are odious."
really interesting stories. i was a policeman for 30 years, but no military service. you guys deserve your reputations. that training is no joke and it takes some incredible tenacity and ability to weather hardship to complete. much respect...
You guys deserve your reputations too
@@bigmarty11288 thanks. both are kind of dirty, but necessary jobs.
@@brucehelppie6119 that wasn't a compliment, class traitor.
Hey “big marty" (🤣)
You're quite the A Hole, aren't you?
@@brucehelppie6119yes I agree. Very necessary jobs indeed. Thank you for your service as a first responder.
I enjoyed these videos on BUDS so much. I was a Marine and went through PI in 87. I’ve wished over the years that I’d gone the Navy route and tried the SEAL thing at some point. It’s something I’d love to know if I had what it took. Oh well, maybe another life. I do hate the frigging cold and for me, that sounds like the worst. I respect all you guys for being able to push yourselves through all that stuff. I could listen to your stories all day. Thanks for sharing it with us as well as your service in the world’s toughest military training.
I’m actually laughing out loud, knowing as you’re telling the running story what the consequences would be! Too funny! You’re a hero for doing this Channel. You’re helping many.
A true humble legend that is walking the earth as we all live thank you for all your sacrifices and helping keep us all a little safer
Thank you for your service Chadd and also your time for this awesome content that men desperately need these days. 👍🏻
Thanks for the great content, Chadd. I enjoy hearing another country boy telling his story about his journey in the military. I appreciate you being a humble, Christian warrior. Appreciate ya, brother!💯🇺🇸
These stories are outstanding. It makes me realize just how special people can be. It’s so inspirational. Thank you sir.
Super interesting. I've been reading about SEAL training for years, but have never heard details like these. Thanks so much for sharing!
Awesome 3 part series of your experience thru BUDS. Thank you for your service 🇺🇲
i enjoy listening to your stories!! my dad was in the navy during WW2...i remember alot of his stories, thank you for your service & for sharing these great tales from your past!!!
Good morning. Going to be a new sub. First , I would like to say thank you for your service. I live right next to Ft Bragg and have friends that are active duty and retired Army. A knee injury in hs knocked me out of the ability to serve in 89 so I feel like I missed the brotherhood that I see that is so strong across all the services. Thanks for sharing your faith and stories. I follow a lot of guys that are prior service and special ops. You all rock. Keep these videos coming. Much love from Raeford NC. God bless you. 🤙🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸
This was the best series to listen to about buds that I’ve seen. If I was prepping for buds I’d be so glad for these videos. The older doc is cool but this to me is better even without visuals, your explaining about everything I can actually just imagine it. Greats videos and thank you for your service.🇺🇸🤘👍
Amen to integrity. Loved the story. Keep 'em coming!
really enjoy your stories. They give good insight into the whole process of going through BUDS.
I love hearing about every aspect of what you Navy SEALS go through in order to become SEAL! Very intense and educational!
I'm sure you inspire quite a few young men to want to go into the teams and hopefully they will be better prepared than they would be if they hadn't heard what they're in for! for!!!
You SEALS are the absolute best America has to offer and your sacrifice, heart, commitment, and determination is second to none. As a US Navy veteran (not a SEAL) I feel honored to have breathed the same air as some of you guys. Hooyah!!!
Thanks for sharing that story. Peace, brother.
An amazing experience I wish I could have gone through. Thank you Chadd, God bless you brother!!
Man, I have really enjoyed these videos!! My son has had it in his heart to try the seals for a long time!
I enjoy these sessions, thank you for the insight.
Thank you so much for sharing your personal journey through all 3 phases of Seal Training - remarkable perseverance and determination 💪🏼
Very interesting. I am amazed how much endurance some people have and what they can endure. I would for sure have dropped out already in the first phase. So I really admire the stamina of those people who make it to the end.
Keep up the great work brother. I love listening to you on my way home from work at 2:30am. And it's about time I hear someone that talks like I do.
May God bless you and yours and
God bless America 🇺🇸.
Thanks for taking your time to tell me us that amazing story, nothing like a real inside from a real super hero
That thanksgiving story sounds like something out of Paris Island. Awesome stuff Chadd. Thank you
You HAD to know it was coming😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing the BUDS portion of your training with us sir. Personally, I found it fascinating, and would enjoy hearing about some of your advanced training as well? At least what you can elaborate on.
I’m really enjoying your videos, I’m always glad to hear just about anything a Navy Seal is willing to talk about. I hope you do more on this topic. The other videos are great too.
These Videos have been really interesting. Most people , myself included could not even imagine the kind of adversity you and your teammates fought through. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
You're the best of the best and then some!!
I can't wrap my head around that type of experiences. I'm glad you succeeded bro!🇺🇸
Cool man thanks for taking the time to share blessings to you and yours
Again, big, big, thank you for your dedicated service protecting our lives, rights, freedoms and values as an American Navy Seal....Bravo. So much appreciation! Cool vid's, Man!
This guy is a natural comedian first and foremost and that makes him even more special!
I enjoy your videos and can confirm there is no smoke blowing here. :-). I did not personally go through it by some of my blood has and it was like hitting replay on the stories. Thank you for your sacrifice and service. 🔱
Wow i went thru a cake walk in 1968 basic army training compared to the hell you went thru! You are a Superman! You are a rare breed! Thank you for all the great story time!😁
Congratulations and thank you for your service. Much respect.
Thanks for taking the time to tell the stories !!
Thank you for your service. And for speaking about your story, very good presentation.
Respect to you sir, I spent 15 years in the RAF supporting special forces all over the world with secure comms and have some idea of how hard you guys work. Hope you enjoyed your time in.
Awesome stories. Love the channel. Thanks for your service.
Awesome videos. Gave me flashbacks of very long, very arduous land nav courses. The worse I remember was a night course after a wicked storm. Lots and lots of deadfall, which makes it so much more fun. Respect for your service.
Love this channel. Hope it grows bigger then you expect
Bro u have , without any shadow a doubt, made a difference in my life…..a positive difference, s thanks my brother.
You are AWESOME Brother! Thanks for sharing your experiences!

You have a talent about sharing experience!!!! So enjoyable!!
The look on your face spoke volumes, much appreciated!
Some good story telling. Always interesting listening to stories. We sometimes anchor in Glorietta Bay. Every now and again we catch some good stuff going on.
I look forward to these videos so please keep em coming
Thank you for sharing your stories. It’s been interesting.
I want more life experiences stories plz… I really enjoy hearing them. Tysm for your service 🔱🙏🏼
I never thought one day I would see a Navy SEAL with a ZZ top guitarist beard style (I know, Chadd is a former Navy SEAL but to me, once a SEAL always a SEAL).
I'm kidding. I really appreciated to listen to you talking about what going through phase 3 of BUD/s does really mean and how challenging it can be.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻.
Doing the right thing isn't always the easy thing, but it's always the right thing. Great story!
These stories are amazing bro. Thanks for sharing
You’re preaching good, integrity, do what’s right when nobody is looking.
Thank you for everything. Much respect Sir!!

love it man, thank you for sharing this
Love this dude. Goes into a lot of detail. Love this channel
That was an entertaining series Chad. Much respect!
Great stories, thank you!
I'm glad I found this channel. You are spot on about integrity. It is lacking in most people but if we are smart, we learn from mistakes and we take our consequences whatever they may be and learn what integrity encompasses. God bless you Chadd 🇺🇸💪🏻
Thank you for your service and thank you for sharing. Only regret I will have is not serving my country. The way things are going I still might be able to do something for my country. God bless you!
These videos are great. Thanks for your service
I respect our seals, but you sir are my favorite!!
@@jasond1648 I agree
Incredible story! What a mind f_ck that entire series of brutal training you volunteered to participate through!
I'm a disabled Army Tank commander and went through a variety of schools. The most difficult school for me was NBC/ Chemical Warfare only because of the academic portions, no physical stuff, you just had to be a somewhat intelligent. I went to the NATO/Warsaw Pact weapons school while out Troop occupied our border camp in Weiden, West Germany but I loved participating in that school. They didn't hold a shoe string compared to the brutality y'all suffered!
I salute you and thank you for your Service!
You are an amazing human. Thank you for sharing.
This series has been great. I was discharged during land nav. I had the huge Alice pack on and I slipped on a rock, removed 2 lower lumbar units from my spine. Paralizised me for 6 months
Love your stories I’m going into Border Patrol soon and my goal is to become part of Bortac, I’m currently part of swat team but from what I hear Bortac selections and training is pretty tough , your stories help me prep my mind for the future feat to overcome
Hopefully this isn’t too late, but on Mike Ritland’s podcast he interviewed a BORTAC dude. (Might be informative for you)
I like how the certificates are done by the simplest printing method, the simplest graphics, no fancy 5th colors, watermarks,.....yet everybody knows, how freaking precious this paper is for every owner.
Heck yea, we enjoyed it!
No matter how deep, wide, cold, what weapons I have, sea life always freaks me...alien environment. Your story describing tides and the raw power of the ocean brought back memories ...I can picture all the equipment on the beach...lol..thanks for making the videos.
Love this information and motivation
Thank you sir for these videos.
Thanks Dude ! GREAT Stories.
Did some diving (not military) many years ago at San Clemente. Probably a much better experience than you had there - the diving there is incredible! Keep up the good stories!! 👌🇺🇸
I try to show people my favorite few minutes of one of the channel's videos anytime I can that could possibly benefit or at least enjoy watching. Get a ton more interest from sitting with a group of people watching one. I'm asked all the time, “ hey, Hey HEYyyy Man what have you got your face in? you missed the last 4 conversations….”! That’s one way to try to share a channel though at least. Anyhow keep going I know for me and probably a lot of guys and gals that you have great teaching ability in you. I don't blow smoke I had a couple teachers that had your passion and talked/projected things similar and sure made class fun and I always magical reasons learned from them things I remember today.
The more Seal stories the better. Thanks Chadd!
Love it Bro.
Great story bro.Thank u for ur service🇺🇸🤙🏻
