    Out of all the jocktobers, i really enjoy listening to this one. As much as they hate Denny's style, it was cool to hear some radio history and learn some interesting shit.

    Opie is so bitter towards Denny because Denny is hokey but legitimately talented, as far as being a radio stations ideal jock. He’s quick, concise, well spoken, and has his timing down.
    Opie is the exact opposite of all of those things even though Opie spent more than half his life striving to be exactly like that.
    Denny is everything little Spudz Buckley dreamed of one day becoming and that’s why everyone can enjoy the silly, hokeyness of Denny, Opie gets legitimately sour and hateful.

    Denny was a dork but I did enjoy him. He was very well informed and passionate about radio. It was like listening to your old lonely relative talk about an old occupation.

    I listen to these Jocktobers in a row a few times a year and just got to this one again today. It's really a good show and far from the worst like what the listeners were saying at the end of this.

      Jimmy and Ant made the comedy of the show. Opie had, maybe, five gems since I've been listening back in 09. Opie contributed little, if anything in terms of comedy.

    Opie loves to say how people hate "them". They dont hate "them" they hate opie. The only reason other radio people hate opie is because he thought he was better than theise new York radio legends just because he studied under hack hippy brother weese. They couldn't understand how opie was in radio cause he cant talk read or pronounce words properly. So clearly Anthony is so talented that people overlooked opies short comings

    im kinda with jimmy on liking old radio, but kinda weirded out a bit. like u knew it was a craft, work was being done, and people has a vested interest in it. but its so strange to hear such happiness in radio with how sullen, depressing, and lazy most radio is today. its kinda cool and has a solid contrast to the normal jocktober shows.

    When denny was talking about erocks dad having lunch with some radio gut opie just had to hit the crickets button. Yet no one laughed cause it was actually interesting.
