Most people are sympathetic and warm, but those who don't have much feeling for others are coldhearted. It is just because of how the people of their environment have made them :(

My mother told me" if you become too much of a cold person , nobody will like to be your friend thus you'll be left alone" and believe me i have seen that in person

To be cold is more of a coping mechanism if anything, since they become like this due to being treated unfairly and they shut the world out to protect their peace. My family raised me as a kid who doesn't talk more and always keeping my own problem to hand it by my self. But it doesn't made me a cold person.
