I think the Black Toe color blocking was perfect for this colorway. I like these better than the University Blue 1’s that released in 2021. Just my opinion. 🤷🏾♂️

I think I know why the color pops for you. It's the Yankees color and the baby blue blends in perfect. I live in NY, the Bronx to be exact, and being from the city you already know when something matches the Fitted, its a wrap. I myself have noticed that I gravitated towards the color combo in other kicks like: Air Max 1s, Olympic 6 and the other Olympic 6s (Ray Allen PE 2000), Obsidian 13s, Columbia 4s etc....just a thought
I was able to cop these. I think the colorway is outstanding. Anything Carolina blue + Jordan is a must cop. Don't have many OG High and I am happy I was able to get these. Great review as usual.

Mad love for unc. Its a must cop for me but id rather have the obsidian 1s, or hyper royal 1s over these.
Best look at these on CZcams. Nike’s UNC blue is a little inconsistent and the leather on the 1’s has been all over the place. This video is what people should check out to help them decide 🔥

The blue leather reminds me of the lucky green leather panels but the blue toe is smooth just like the taxis.

Must cop for me without a doubt. These are top of a very short list of AJ1s i want in 2023. Huge fan of UNC Jordan colorways , i wear a lot of black and blue and i've liked many iteraitons of this blocking previously ; like the Bred Toes , Shattered Backboards, Court Purples etc. As big a fan of UNC blue / UNC Jordan colorways this could be one my favorite versions with this blocking. And UNC colorways on a Jordan 1 just hit different. Must cop for me and hopefully with the rumored stock many of us can hit for retail.

The blue is darker than most UNC/Carolina ones we’ve seen. More closer to Carolina Panthers. Still dope, and I wear mine for sure!

I noticed the wings logo for this joints is smaller than normal, that me feel bad, but my son never mind and he’s loving the shoes… so lucky we just picked it up the store, no raffles, no lines… i like it to, nice color and material is above average.

It’s a beautiful pair of sneakers. I got two pairs. One to rock one to stock, but if one wears out, I’m wearing the second pair for sure.
As a fan of the UNC/Carolina Blue color way and the OG 1s this was a no-brainer for me. I was surprised how easy I got the Ws from a couple of raffles from Feature and AMM/Social Status.

Nah. They already did that with the 13’s. Buckets missed Nike’s whole thought process: Black and UNC 13, all over UNC 5, White black and UNC 1. Three different silhouettes, all perfectly executed.
I think these came out at the right time and the color way is perfect. But I think a bred color would be fire asf eventually in the future tho
@@DeezIlluminatedI got the 5s’ and the 13s’. The 5s’ are “too blue”. The 13s’ are fantastic but they’re still 13s at the end of the day. One of my favorite silhouettes, so no hate. Bred 13s’ were one of my first pairs and they’ll always take me back to middle school. I got a pair of the Playoffs in February too. While a ton of people let them sit 🤦🏻♂️ Like seriously, what is wrong with sneaker culture when such an iconic shoe Mike actually wore sits?? Dont get me started on Cardinal 7s. It’s late. Agree with Buckets on the color blocking. I’m passing on them as this color blocking just leaves me feeling something with them just isn’t as good as it could have been. Would have preferred the toe box be white or go with the banned color blocking like Buckets said.
Banned blocking is saved for the suede royals coming later this year. I believe all materials will be reversed for the next future releases. Color has been flipped around too many times, it’s about time Nike changes material on silhouettes. I’d like to see more different suedes on 11s.
