Chasing Hastings DEMU '1001' thumping around on the "NEASDEN NONSENSE" railtour - 20th April 2024

- Once again, chasing a railtour along with the company of David (Trainline5000 - please check out his channel here: / @trainline5000 ) - this time it is Hastings Diesel Ltd's DEMU '1001' (which is actually 1012 & 1013 as you'll see at Aylesbury Vale Parkway) from Buckinghamshire to West London... yes... working UK Railtours' "NEASDEN NONSENSE". I was hoping to be on this tour, but there's job worries within High Output so I left it this time around.
I have blurred myself in some reflections at a couple of points as noone wants to see that and there is some muted audio at West Ruislip due to my talking on the phone to my Grandad (about Bachmann OO gauge WCRC Mk1s) and also talking with David on the other platform.
All filming locations are listed in the video, but include:
Apsley Manor Farm UWC (near Little Kimble), Aylesbury Vale Parkway, Stoke Mandeville No.17 Crossing, Gerrards Cross, South Greenford, West Ruislip, Drayton Green & Hanwell.

Amazing video mate! We certainly covered some miles back and forth and we did well to see it so many times! Love the shot of it coming off the Greenford East curve, opening up with a Central line train in the background. Great noise at many points as well, Gerrards Cross footbridge was fantastic for that!

Love the look of this train. I have distant memories of travelling from Stockport to Salisbury on the Pines Express, there changing to a DEMU like this to Romsey. It was non corridor compartment stock

They are of a different class but there are a good couple of examples still about, yes
