They're all cool. I bought my MS when it first came out, so I didn't really have a choice back then. I'm a Thor fan, so I bought it, because it was the first ever modern Thor action figure. ML was still in production limbo then, just coming out with 2 packs. Then I started collecting MU. Naturally I had to get the Thor in this scale. Now we get to enjoy the ML. I recently chanced upon an MS ultimate Thor, and I'm very happy. Sorry, I know I'm off-topic, but my Thor collection just grew.
Im so happy i got the Marvel legends Modern thor, im so lucky, wave one was literally on shelves for only like a week, then wave 2 came and there was no more wave 1. Just happy i got the thor, but now i cant get any of wave 2, empty pegs everywhere!
thanks to your review I went out and purchased this figure. I see what you mean about the holding of the hammer though, so I display him with series 3 marvel legend's Thor's hammer. it fit's much better and looks more magical.
Illidanocturo their basically the same but I like the select better because he is buffer and more imposing (taller) also the head sculpt on this one looks more detailed to me.
I think MS Thor was my first Thor figure ever. There's something about the face that I kinda don't like but the body work and level of detail is amazing. It's one of the big reasons why I haven't bothered buying the new ML Thor.
hope we get another classic thor in the movie figure line and if not at least a clone thor figure with a both battle damage and normal appearance variant
my fav between ms and ml its the legends besides the lack of detail in the torso and chest like u mentioned, but my absolute fav thor right now is ages of thunder mu

I like the Marvel Select Thor head sculpt better. The Marvel Legends Thor head looks like an old lady or a demon...too many lines in the face, the grimace makes him look like he has no teeth.

while i collect both, i usually prefer MS over ML but this ML modern Thor is one of the best Thor figs ive seen. very impressed with ML on this one!

I bought this Thor and the Marvel Diamond Select Hulk. They look great on my stereo speakers. On the other speaker I have Deadpool and Wolverine.

I think the arms on the Marvel Legends Thor are too stiff, range of motion is way too limited.

ML and MS Thor are about even. MS has a nicer sculpt imo but ML has better articulation so one cancels the other out.

IMO ML is the better over all hedsculpt but MS and even MU is way more comic accurate.
