I can’t wait for House of the Dragon the prequel though! Miguel Sapochnick who directed this episode, Battle of the Bastards, and Hardhome will be directing every episode. Ramin Djawadi who composed the legendary score for this show will also be returning! Thankfully David and Dan the two people responsible for ruining this magnificent show will be nowhere near it 😂. Also George R.R Martin will be working much more closely with the writers this time!

My only problem with s5 and 6 especially the last couple of eps is that it felt rushed. After the ep "The Door", everything started to happen so fast. Compare that to earlier seasons where it went into much more dept and details for every action.
she had big fleet, she had unsullied, she had dothraki, she had tyrell, she had martel, she had 3 dragons. She could easily win the throne, and fight the night king. But the writers said otherwise

we could notice this also during dany's dream is S2 broken ceiling, she at the wall , meeting khal drogo Rhaegal and viserion (also hearing their sound) and also the iron throne which is freezed (she didn't sit on it ) (also shows that winter arrived and it was melted)
Also bran's vision in S4 and s6 showed that dany is going to burn king's landing
In S6's vision He saw 3 images again and again in particular order 1st pic dany giving birth to drogon (drogon is only visible) 2nd pic he saw dragon flying over king's landing
3rd he saw areys Targaryen saying burn them all
He also saw burning of sept 4episodes earlier in this vison
Remember dany saw a dream that if she would take dragons in great fire they would hatch similarly she saw the dream mentioned above

Years later I still think Game of Thrones is one of the best things to be put on television EVER!!! I know the last two seasons were pretty bad but this show offered some of the best television to ever exist, it changed the game :)

I honestly prefer this over The Light of the Seven.
Something about this particular score hits me in so many ways. It could be how beautifully majestic and epic the music is, or it could be seeing Daenerys and her army finally setting sail for King's Landing after 6 seasons of her character's journey. Could be both. Either way, I'm in love with it.
Anonymous the Light of the Seven incorporates more the real soul of the show, the way GRRM conceived it, portaying conflict and war in a more creepy, tragic way.

Funny story. GRRM wanted the show to go for 12 seasons with 120 episodes. But D and D wanted only 7 seasons and settled down for 8 seasons. If they didn't want to continue the story they should have just given the writing to a better person and leave. But nope gotta squeeze every $$ out of the series before they move on to other priorities.

They wanted to ruin Star Wars even more than it has already been ruined. I can't watch Star Wars and Game of Thrones anymore and it is because of Dumb and Dumber and JarJar Abrams and Ruin Johnson. It annoys me that studios in general ruin the shows by constantly screaming “ratings”. Cersei drank wine for most of season 8 because she’s pretty and demanded screen time. Her story was nothing but her face was everything. It’s the reason why Bron didnt die and why Rob had more screen time. Because the audience liked them..

I cant even begin to describe how important this is for the series
1) The Lannisters are getting evicted from Kings Landing after 6 seasons
2) Most of Westeros and Essos are united in one army.
3) The Starks have just gained their strongest ally or enemy in the series
4) We are most likely completely done with Essos on the show

And then Danaerys with her army of Unsullied, loyal Dothraki horde, and three fire-breathing dragons destroyed the evil Queen Cersei. With the guidance of her wise advisors Varys and Tyrion she united the free peoples of Westoros to rise up as one to defeat the Night King and his army of the dead.

The best thing about this scene is they have shown all the key members of Daenerys' army prominently. Be it Greyworm, Greyjoy siblings to Dothraki to Varys to Dragons.
Finally Daenerys has reached from no where to the dream she dreamt at the beginning to have an unprecedented army to take Westeros.
The scene is epic.
and all but greyworm die she failed in every way possible
Who else misses game of thrones despite the ending
But this was an excellent ending even if it is incomplete.
At this moment was Daenerys the most powerful.
