How to drill your bodyboard | Bodyboard tips

In this 3 minute video, Manuel Centeno will show you how to drill your bodyboard to insert the leash.
1. It is advised to drill the board on one of the two sides of the logo.
2. For the drilling you will need a lighter, a screwdriver and the leash.
3. Place the board on the floor and apply your bodyweight on it. This will help you to get a vertical hole on the board.
4. Plan out where you want to out the leash. Mark the spot with the screwdriver.
5. Heat the screwdriver with the lighter to provide a clean hole.
6. Extend the whole slightly by moving the screwdriver in circular motions. Repeat this on both sides of the hole.
7. Unscrew the leash cups. Cut 1/2 a centimetre from the leash cup screw.
8. Insert The thread part of the leash in the front. Apply some pressure to insert.
9. The screw cap goes in the back. Join both pieces. Use a coin to screw it into place.
