I love the way she uses the bell of the symbol. It's astonishing that so many drummers go through life without realizing how many different sounds you can get out of a symbol. She is truly amazing!
I totally agree with you. In this life there are a lot of things drummers either don't realize or spend enough time exploring. Being able to play the bell of a cymbal and transition back and forth, effortlessly is one of them. Also something I want to work on as a personal goal of mine.
