This guy got backstabbed by his friends of 20 years. I'm only 20 years old myself. If I had a friend for the span of my entire lifetime do this to me, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. And I've watched about 30 videos of Vic, looking for anything close to sexual harassment. He's the nicest person I have ever seen on camera. I like to state that I have met Vic at a con this November, I was going to stand in a very long line to meet him and get stuff signed from because I was a big fan of his work on star trek but I had a little time before I needed to stand in line so I went to hit up artist alley when I saw Vic in the corner of my eye I stop yelled out ViC! he stops and turned around and said yes? I held out my hand and said, Vic, I'm a big fan I love your work on star trek! he looked like he was going to cry, he seemed very touch and he said to me thank you so much, for such a big star at the time I thought he would blow me off and walk away so I didn't want to take up all his time but instead he wanted to talk to me, he didn't have to do that, but he did, the man I met that day was not the monster they paint him to be he was such a nice caring man willing to give up all this time for a fan in Iowa to talk to me about star trek with me, I stan with Vic

I've spoken to Vic quite a bit and can honestly say he is one of the most sincere and passionate people I have ever met. This man loves his fans and doesn't take them for granted. This whole situation to me is gutting.
I am absolutely heart broken having to see Vic in such a state. 😢 Me and my 4yr old has met him at London MCM not that long ago, and he was the nicest, loving person anyone could possibly meet! He gave me a hug, and lil man a high five before sighing an autograph. This is devastating, and I truly hope that things get better for Vic again. He doesn't deserve any of this, and I'll always remain a true fan. He's put so much work into not just into his career, but keeping everyone happy with what he does as a well known voice actor. I’ve known Vic for over 10 years I have observed him very closely and I find it very VERY hard to believe that these accusations are true. I do know about his anti yaoi stand and he has said many times it’s because it’s not canon. As far as the kissing the girls on the cheeks go I was standing in front of one of his autograph tables at about three conventions and it was at THEIR request. And now a bunch of other voice actors are starting to turn on Vic most notably Monica Rial, Who claimed that she knew about this for 15 years and yet I never once heard a peep out of her I never once saw her uncomfortable around Vic and she claimed it was because it was going to damage her career you dub anime and it pays no more than 200$ a session that doesn’t pay the bills! I can tell you this ever since the whole Kavanagh fiasco. People think they can say anything without due process and I think that is grade A BS. Oh sure these accusations of had some photos to back up their claims but I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to the story that they’re not telling, so until then Vic is innocent until proven guilty!

I've been to a convention with my cousins and we met him. He is the nicest VA I've ever met. This man is a saint. He has just about given his shirt off his back for his fans. Just because he has a tendency to hug them doesn't make him a molester. Actually it's his fangirls who are the ones that are always groping him, not the other way around. Hell, some of them stalk him to his house. Vic always takes his time out of his day to interact with his fans. I hate this so freaking much. Sooooo... question...? About the photographic evidence against Vic. The kisses on the cheek, the hugs, etc. Why would they go through with having the picture taken if they didn't like or allow it? They act like they have such a knee jerk reaction to stuff like that. However, that evidence I've seen they're all smiling with him. Let's not pretend there isn't a gap in time between the initial pose and the snap of the picture. If his lips on your cheek doesn't spook you on impact then I have to question why? Vic says he is sorry for not being sensitive to the likes and dislikes of every individual. To which I say: "He isn't at fault in this regard. Not totally." He can't read your mind! To him you're just like any other if you've got an issue with physical contact it's partially your responsibility to let him know that. Otherwise you'll get what everyone else gets. I mean you have to see the hug coming. If you didn't that's still a conversation you could have had rather than photograph it, smile in his face, then use it against him first chance you get. One girl who's picture was used to attack Vic was misused recently. The girl in the photo came out to say that she did not like her picture being used to smear Vic. That's also important because many others are trying to blow this out of proportion by saying "I saw this... He did that..." without having any bad experiences with him themselves.

Met Vic a couple of years back. Had him greet my sister via video since she enjoys full metal alchemist very much. Everything went great. He seemed like a cool person. My sister-in-law accidentally erased the video right after we shot it. We asked if he could do it again and guess what? He accepted and was a good sport about it. No extra charge or obligations to do so. I know it might not seem like much to some, but I’d like to think that it shows a lot of good character from a person.

The crazy part of this is just... I understand where he comes from when he says "Not everyone wants to be touched". He is smart for assessing this and he is smart for trying to find the error in his ways - but he is dumb for thinking that there ARE errors in his ways. When you're on a convention and you hug someone tightly and that person turns out not to like your hugs and never wanted it? Then that person should find it in their heart to forgive you for not knowing this, because you have nothing to regret when your purest intention was to spread love and happiness in an environment where different people from different places gather to interact with each other. Let me give you all an update in case you are revisiting this/ I was with Vic personally Saturday Sept 23, 2023 in Kingsland Ga at Neutral Zone Studios. He posed for pictures with me and my family, gave a two hour tour of the Star Trek Facility. I found him to be full of life, energy and happiness. He is a survivor and a warrior. While I feel his pain in watching this.......I also saw his strength on Saturday. Rest assured that God has his back and has lifted him above the pain.
You know what Vic’s fellow voice actors did reminds me of what Judas did to Jesus the night before he was crucified. He betrayed Jesus for silver to the Romans. What Monica and the other funimation voice actors did was similar. They betrayed a friend for personal gain. I’m not putting Vic on the same level as Jesus, but from a Christian’s point of view that’s what this whole situation is reminding me of. Apologies, I haven’t read the Bible for some time. It makes me sick how these V.A's are going to a con I'm going to; I was mainly going for Vic because I met him at MegaCon 2015 and he was the SWEETEST man and I would have LOVED to have met him again! because he seems so warm and nice. I thought about flipping off Vulma's and Vageta's V.A's because they're still going but in respect for Vic I won't do that, I won't wait in line to say something means about them for this situation and I want to be better than them. It’s disheartening to see someone’s mask break this bad. I want to be a voice actor while being a music teacher, but by seeing this scares me more to be one since this is what I may have to go through. Seeing a person having their mask broken just because they didn’t sign Yaoi art or made someone jealous without any intention just disgusts me how people can be. This very situation isn’t something Vic should experience. I had a friend that told me about that he did something to her, but she didn’t specifically say. So I went ahead and went through research to see both sides of the story. Now that I see how he interacts through vids and how he corresponds within social media I can see that he’s a genuinely nice person. I want to meet him someday, but too bad I can’t.
He works out like a beast. Especially now, as a way to handle all the shit happening to him. I’ve been watching his live streams and he seems to be doing way better. I watch regularly and send email to make sure he’s okay. I wish I could just hug him and try to make him feel better.

I like to state that I have met Vic at a con this November, I was going to stand in a very long line to meet him and get stuff signed from because I was a big fan of his work on star trek but I had a little time before I needed to stand in line so I went to hit up artist alley when I saw Vic in the corner of my eye I stop yelled out ViC! he stops and turned around and said yes? I've spoken to Vic quite a bit and can honestly say he is one of the most sincere and passionate people I have ever met. This man loves his fans and doesn't take them for granted. This whole situation to me is gutting.
I am absolutely heart broken having to see Vic in such a state. 😢 Me and my 4yr old has met him at London MCM not that long ago, and he was the nicest, loving person anyone could possibly meet! He gave me a hug, and lil man a high five before sighing an autograph. This is devastating, and I truly hope that things get better for Vic again. He doesn't deserve any of this, and I'll always remain a true fan. He's put so much work into not just into his career, but keeping everyone happy with what he does as a well known voice actor. I'll continue supporting that man 100% like how I've always have.

I’ve known Vic for over 10 years I have observed him very closely and I find it very VERY hard to believe that these accusations are true. I do know about his anti yaoi stand and he has said many times it’s because it’s not canon. As far as the kissing the girls on the cheeks go I was standing in front of one of his autograph tables at about three conventions and it was at THEIR request. And now a bunch of other voice actors are starting to turn on Vic most notably Monica Rial, Who claimed that she knew about this for 15 years and yet I never once heard a peep out of her I never once saw her uncomfortable around Vic and she claimed it was because it was going to damage her career you dub anime and it pays no more than 200$ a session that doesn’t pay the bills! I can tell you this ever since the whole Kavanagh fiasco. People think they can say anything without due process and I think that is grade A BS. Oh sure these accusations of had some photos to back up their claims but I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to the story that they’re not telling, so until then Vic is innocent until proven guilty!

I've been to a convention with my cousins and we met him. He is the nicest VA I've ever met. This man is a saint. He has just about given his shirt off his back for his fans. About the photographic evidence against Vic. The kisses on the cheek, the hugs, etc. Why would they go through with having the picture taken if they didn't like or allow it? They act like they have such a knee jerk reaction to stuff like that. However, that evidence I've seen they're all smiling with him. Let's not pretend there isn't a gap in time between the initial pose and the snap of the picture. If his lips on your cheek doesn't spook you on impact then I have to question why?
Vic says he is sorry for not being sensitive to the likes and dislikes of every individual. To which I say: "He isn't at fault in this regard. Not totally." He can't read your mind! To him you're just like any other if you've got an issue with physical contact it's partially your responsibility to let him know that. Otherwise you'll get what everyone else gets. I mean you have to see the hug coming. If you didn't that's still a conversation you could have had rather than photograph it, smile in his face, then use it against him first chance you get. That's cutthroat and malicious.
They'd be sure to let a restaurant know they've an allergy to specific food before eating to avoid a reaction. This isn't much different. Some might say some people might not think to say anything before it happens and that it isn't as important as having an allergic reaction. Met Vic a couple of years back. Had him greet my sister via video since she enjoys full metal alchemist very much. Everything went great. He seemed like a cool person. My sister-in-law accidentally erased the video right after we shot it. We asked if he could do it again and guess what? He accepted and was a good sport about it. No extra charge or obligations to do so. I know it might not seem like much to some, but I’d like to think that it shows a lot of good character from a person.

I understand where he comes from when he says "Not everyone wants to be touched". He is smart for assessing this and he is smart for trying to find the error in his ways - but he is dumb for thinking that there ARE errors in his ways.
When you're on a convention and you hug someone tightly and that person turns out not to like your hugs and never wanted it? Then that person should find it in their heart to forgive you for not knowing this, because you have nothing to regret when your purest intention was to spread love and happiness in an environment where different people from different places gather to interact with each other.
You're entitled to not wanting to be hugged.
You're also entitled to looking past being hugged by somebody who didn't know that you didn't want it because you didn't tell them that you didn't want it.

Think of Vic what you want as a voice actor. Hate him for his role if you didn't like his performance - but don't try to throw this man under the bus for hugging somebody. It's not molestation to hug somebody the way your mother would hug you. It shows that they care. If you think that's "creepy", "molestation" or "abuse", then you've been living in the wrong circles for far too long and might even need the help of a therapist, I'm not kidding. The bigger picture comes from Monica Rial and others claiming that he has done inappropriate things to them. A lot of VAs are vouching for that but I honestly don't want to believe it. And even if it is true, we all know that he loves what he does as an entertainer and we know that he feels blessed to be in that role regardless of what has happened to him or others. If he has done anything inappropriate or wrong I don't think he views it in that way because we all know he's loudly expressive and sometimes emotions can take over situations. Regardless, I support him because I truly believe he doesn't mean any harm and he can be redeem if anything said is true. I support and respect all VAs until they start harassing fans like how Monica has. I know she is going through a lot but she didn't have to do what she did on Twitter last night.

Let me give you all an update in case you are revisiting this/ I was with Vic personally Saturday Sept 23, 2023 in Kingsland Ga at Neutral Zone Studios. He posed for pictures with me and my family, gave a two hour tour of the Star Trek Facility. I found him to be full of life, energy and happiness. He is a survivor and a warrior. While I feel his pain in watching this.......I also saw his strength on Saturday. Rest assured that God has his back and has lifted him above the pain.
You know what Vic’s fellow voice actors did reminds me of what Judas did to Jesus the night before he was crucified. He betrayed Jesus for silver to the Romans. What Monica and the other funimation voice actors did was similar. They betrayed a friend for personal gain. I’m not putting Vic on the same level as Jesus, but from a Christian’s point of view that’s what this whole situation is reminding me of.

He's a kind and heartwarming man, and the way he treats his fans so lovingly and kind has made me feel pretty bad for him.

These horrible NPCs are nothing more than modern day witch hunters. They want to see evil in good people and will stop at nothing to destroy innocent lives. They have no place in the anime community. Anime fans are already diverse and accepting of one another. We don't need your identity politics in our fandom. Leave Vic alone.
Some reason seeing the npcs in Puritan hats sounds normal, in case no one know what I mean; the puritans led the Salem witch trials....same types of accusations

The fact that these claims have been proven false pisses me off. Vic is such a sweet man, and these people are only out to ruin his life. I want to meet Vic and tell him how much he means to the people who really care.
I love Vic so much, I met him at FanX in Salt Lake and he was the sweetest person ever I love him so much. He doesn't deserve this hate, he needs all the support he can get, I give my whole heart out to Vic. #IStandWithVic I will always stand with him. I LOVED YOUR HUG BTW!
It makes me sick how these V.A's are going to a con I'm going to; I was mainly going for Vic because I met him at MegaCon 2015 and he was the SWEETEST man and I would have LOVED to have met him again! because he seems so warm and nice. I thought about flipping off Vulma's and Vageta's V.A's because they're still going but in respect for Vic I won't do that, I won't wait in line to say something means about them for this situation and I want to be better than them. I'm still very salty that they would do this to him but I'm glad people are supporting him, it is a shame Vic isn't going til further notice anymore but I'm still glad Todd is :)

It’s disheartening to see someone’s mask break this bad. I want to be a voice actor while being a music teacher, but by seeing this scares me more to be one since this is what I may have to go through. Seeing a person having their mask broken just because they didn’t sign Yaoi art or made someone jealous without any intention just disgusts me how people can be. This very situation isn’t something Vic should experience. I had a friend that told me about that he did something to her, but she didn’t specifically say. So I went ahead and went through research to see both sides of the story. Now that I see how he interacts through vids and how he corresponds within social media I can see that he’s a genuinely nice person. I want to meet him someday, but too bad I can’t.

He works out like a beast. Especially now, as a way to handle all the shit happening to him. I’ve been watching his live streams and he seems to be doing way better. I watch regularly and send email to make sure he’s okay. I wish I could just hug him and try to make him feel better.

Comparing how he was feeling during this con compare to how he is in my videos from Kitchener Comic Con brings a huge amile on my face to seeing Vic back to his old self.
When I first watched this video last year I felt his pain and wanted to give him a huge hug to help cheer him up.
You can tell at the begining that hes upset and wants to just let it all out.
Now I want to hug him.
