JMB, thanks for the review! How is the heat level on your lights. Another reviewer said these lights get very hot. One of his lights overheated and shut down. I do not remember how long the light was on before shutting down. What’s your experience in that regard? Thanks!
If you and I are referring to the same review, I think he said he had his on for around an hour, which is why I chose to power both of mine on at full power for over an hour when I first got them, and like I said; "Didn't suffer so much as a flicker".
The lights definitely get warm to the touch, particularly on the metal, but I think that's to be expected. Nothing has gotten hot enough to hurt or concern me though. I really do think that the reviewer in question got a bad light, which does tend to happen with budget items like this. As it stands though, mine have been great!

I saw that if you leave it at 100 percent for to long it turns itself off because of the heat.
I saw a video where someone talked about that as well, and if I recall, they said they got a little less than an hour before the lights shut off.
As I mentioned in the video, I left both of my lights on for over an hour at 100% and didn't have any issues, and in the video I saw, several people commented that they'd used their lights for hours at a time at 100% and didn't have any issues.
It's entirely possible that the author of the video I saw just got an imperfect product, which is unfortunately one of the likely possibilities when dealing with small companies and budget products. In my case though, so far it seems like I've got a reliable pair :)
I have this light, and it's legit bang for the buck! I think I'm going to buy the Buy one get one free!
For the price, I really think it's hard to beat, especially if you're fortunate enough to nab them during the BOGO offer (I was not so fortunate, haha).
