Actually Kun was in this in fact this was his first promotion and only promotion in 2018. It was basically a ghost member before hand. Lucky he debuted in wayv as leader a year later. #justiceforkun
When did Kun perform the Chinese version of “Without You” with Taeil, Doyoung, and Jaehyun? I thought that was before 2018.
@@lulashepard3253 yes, that was near nct's debut, but after that Kun was referred to as smrookies again with jungwoo and lucas. So he was kinda forced back into trainee status even after releasing a song, doing a performance, and appearing in nct life
@@haemilia9300 I guess it was kinda like Jinho performing on a song with others while at SM, but not officially debuting (he ended up leaving the company and becoming a member of Pentagon). I have a feeling that SM was upfront with Kun about their plans for him (and also Ten) at the time. I believe a Chinese subunit was in the works all along, and he was advised to be patient while things were coming together; I think during that time he was actually able to finish college. Ultimately his patience, and ours, was rewarded.

I just remembered basically all songs on the Empathy album have a MV. Literally the only ones without one are the into, outro, and like the Chinese Ver, extended Ver, and so on. Kind of wish they’d do it again with their newer albums.
But the empathy era was literally the best. Lol, I still go back and watch the teasers and NCTmentary cause it was soooo good. Also the fact that a weekly idol ep. exists with all 18 members… 2018 was THAT year
If you joined during empathy era or experienced empathy era then you are very lucky like the mvs contents also the ransom relays lives everything was fun that time
Also when there was not THAT MUCH toxicity (of course there was, and with all the hate Taeyong got, but there weren’t as many scandals as now :c)
wayv was not a thing yet and i loved how on some black on black live performances, ten would do a wayv hand gesture during his solo dance break as a spoiler for wayv's upcoming debut at that time
Fun fact : Black on Black also has fanchants where nctzens chant all the members name (in age order) and it's divided into two parts. If you see the live performance you will hear rapper nctzens chanting all the members name in one go haha

Everyone else was in it. Lol, I remember there was 18, because it was 2018. Lucas, Kun, and Jungwoo were the ones added in 2018. Also you can see Lucas in TEN’s Dream in a Dream from 2017. And in 2016 there is actually video of Kun joining NCT on stage for the Chinese version of Without You.

Yeah, my point exactly. It’s not like she wasn’t being honest, she just reacted the way she always did. That’s prob the reason why she’s not accepting any req because she would rather experience one at a time to be able to properly understand the groups she’s reacting to.

Yeah, Kun was in this (18 members in 2018) but other than Lucas no other centre parts were added to the original 2016 layout. They had a big intro Vlive to welcome the new members in 2018 (Lucas, Jungwoo and Kun) and also they welcomed back Ten after his hiatus and Jaemin after his injury. It was a very exciting time and so good to see them together.

Taeyong's such a KING!!! He always knows how to slay... and he does so fashionably. Everyone was wearing sneakers, but here he is wearing boots and all ready for a runway :"') and he still danced 110%. No wonder why he's always on top! Also his stage presence is unmatched.
This was also the time when NCTzens became full-on rappers rapping the fanchants for Black On Black during live shows.

It's easy to remember NCT 2018 was 18 members so the ones missing are Xiaojun, Hendery, Yang Yang (trainees at the time?), and obviously Sungchan and Shotaro.
Wayv didn't make their official debut until Jan 2019.
I've seen other reactors react to Black on Black, but I think yours is my favorite! I had so much fun watching with you!

2018 was such a great year for NCT and we got so much great music and iconic stages...
It is worth it to go watch their dance performance to Black on Black back in 2016 MAMA stage. It was originally part of a dance medley special stage and you get to see the members at the time with little 14 year old Jisung in the centre. It's great and really fun to compare with the extended 2018 version of the song.

omg girl since you've mentioned that you'll get into the album (nct 2018 Empathy, i suppose) i hope its ok for me to suggest that you check out Yestoday (a track in the album) with lyrics as well! since it has an MV but sadly there isnt any subtitles~ just wanna let u feel FEEL the song extra harder cos its a special song (lyric-wise esp) plus its co-written by markyong too! :)
Yestoday is my absolute fav song off the album! The MV was really well done and it is definitely important to check out the lyrics. Taeyong wrote so much beautiful stuff for that and then Mark added his verse.... it's just amazing

actually this was kun's debut song, but we didn't even have a scene centered on him, anyway to this day i'm very happy for everything he achieved as a leader of wayv, on the other hand my man yuta is brilliant in this choreography, speaking of Yuta, have you seen the preview of the Japanese movie in which he is going to debut as an actor? omg he looks amazing! ahh Xiaojun, Yangyang and Hendery hadn't debuted as part of nct yet when this song came out, they debuted in 2019 that's why you didn't see them here.

If I think about it, Yuta has already done choreos that involves jumping, some punching and kicking long before he acted in High and Low. No one knows what's behind the scene so it may be coincidental but I love that his body is already ready to do action movies.

When I discovered NCT back in NCT 2020 part 1 was released I had to watch this video a million times to really pay attention to all the members and see who was who. My favorite parts are Johnny’s leg flying in front of the camera till the “floor work” and Jisung’s part with all that foot work.

I don’t know if I’m delusional or not but I think many people know that it’s hard to find a reactor/channel that really enjoy, like, or even support their favs genuinely, and that makes me happy and kind of want to cry when I watch the reaction video. It makes me feel like there are people who enjoy their music and content.

WayV debuted January 2019 so Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang were still trainees and haven't debuted yet so they wouldn't be in NCT2018. NCT 2018 only had 18 members.
Hopefully you'll also watch NCT 2020 Year Party where they introduce Sungchan and Shotaro too! Fair warning, every second of that video is a death moment of visuals upon visuals. hehe can't wait for you to see it.
