Thanks, Marni. I didn't know that these were considered "weird." Very recently, I moved to a new large condominium community in north Scottsdale, and there are many attractive women here. Last week I met a cute girl living in an adjacent unit, and we exchanged names. Today I met her again, and it seems to me that we had a good connection when I remembered her name.

The way she described it kind of made me cringe just a bit, though. "Driving so fast through the trees..." Might not have been the best idea to reveal that one, or at least phrase it a bit differently, 'cause it makes me wonder how many guys watched this and suddenly decided being one of those a-holes who weave in and out between cars on the interstate at 90+ mph was a good idea. Lot of guys out there THINK they're a good driver when in reality, not so much.

I would like to add odd things to the list 3 things that work for me. Just remember, with respect and confidence, do these things. Not saying it will work for you but for me who dates 38-63 age range it works for me.

If you drive a truck when you open her door getting in or getting out offer your phand to grab or hold stepping of a curb or down stairs works also if she don't grab it take it away she will notice the gesture. You don't have to do it every time but offer it you will be surprised.

If walking thru a crowd lead thru it the lower back, yes, but be in front of her, look back at her and reach your hand out when she is behind you. 99% will reach out and hold yours back it and alow you lead them thru.
And 90% will not let go until you do.

If walking down the street and at a street crossing down a curb and an older woman is trying to go down a curb, offer you her your hand to help her down if you have a free hand. If you have your dates, simply tell her to hold on and help the elderly woman down first, then go back to your date. Something about physicly seeing you help an "elder woman" works for me anyway. Little things like that work for me cause guys your being judged always in public ..

My hands are tools, have scratches and scars. But i take time on them outside of work. It's like a work/life balance with the appearance and hygiene of my hands. It seems to work.

I'd never thought about this before, but every single one told me multiple times how much they loved my hands. Carpenter's hands. That said, I did take care of them, but it was mostly down to me hating the feeling of various stains, finishes, solvents, and even the resin/sap/etc. drying on my skin. It shouldn't be a surprise... women don't need to know or learn any particular skills or behaviors in order to have men want to date them or to get men to be attracted to them, just be attractive and available... But men have to demonstrate value right from the beginning in many ways - so we as men have to end up having to working on ourselves a lot more than women do just to get dates and be able to attract the other sex.
So yeah, when people and Society say that women have to learn skills or learn behaviors or how to communicate or how to talk a certain way in order to get men attracted to them, that women also have to learn how to meet men or how to get a date, how to meet men, how to get a boyfriend, it just makes me laugh and cringe and I just find it very stupid, it will never make sense to me as to why women have to learn or know dating skills when they don't have to do anything during the seduction or courtship phase. Just go out and show up or simply just be there.
Especially since the way the man talks or behaves in a conversation or in an interaction between a man in a woman is what usually determines or influences if the woman is going to be attracted to him or not, not the other way around.
I remember one guy only pissed me off more when he said that he has had plenty of women say things to him in conversations or interactions that have turned him off and that have caused him to not want to sleep with them.
Well to each their own and I'm sure there are tons of men in the world that are like that but I'm sure it is a lot more common for women than it is for men to get turned off during conversations or interactions between the 2 sexes than the other way around.
Because taking the lead and men having to lead the woman, approaching and hitting on, reading a womans signs of Interest and non interest, is obviously a skill that has to practiced and learned, done repeatedly in order to get better.
Women just have to passively exist and do nothing and they can still get into a relationship or attract men and that obviously doesn't require any skill or any learning and when people say that it does require skills or learning on women's part, it just mind boggles me and it makes me mad and pisses me off.
So yeah men have to do all of the learning and learn all of the skills and behaviors in order to attract women but women just have to exist and do nothing and they still get guys, that's why I get very annoyed that there are even dating coaches and relationship coaches for women.
Send a letter of complaint to mother nature. Men and women are just different and are attracted to different things, just have to deal with it and make the best of it. That's life.
