    Another way to pull the plug out or put back in (not for loosening or tightening) is to use either a commercial flexible shaft tool designed specifically for this purpose or use a length of garden hose (with diameter to match the s. plug shaft).
    This makes removing and reinstalling much easier. It also helps you (gently) align the spark plugs so that the threads won't be stripped when reinserting and starting the plug in the plug hole.

    Can I get some advice on what things I can check to get spark to the plugs? I just put some CR10EKs and not visible spark. (2000 R6)

    • @fwh79FOXR6
      @fwh79FOXR6  Před 5 lety +1

      Tiger 131: No, I have actually never used an iridium spark plug on a bike or cars. I have no experience with them, so I can not speak on them. I usually change my spark plugs once a year in the spring time. The longest I will go is two years without a change.

    i Changed Spark Plugs in the 2001 Rj03 R6 and a 2004 Rj09 R6.. Both Bikes are so Cancer. Everything is placed so stupid.Try to unscrew the Carburetor in the R6, you get Sick or install the rear wheel, you must hold 4 things at the Same time. or the Clutch Cover is also AIDS at the R6. My gsxr 2003 is more screw friendly, holes in the frame for the screws that hold the throttle Body, way more room for spark plugs.

      Jonathan Holloway: Do me a favor buddy... I noticed you have zero content and no subs. So I just subbed your awesome channel. Maybe you could pull your $700.00 cell phone out of your pants and make me a video about how to replace the spark plugs in a Yamaha R6 or any sport bike for that matter. You know, instead of bumpin machine donkey kelly through your ear buds. I get the feeling you don't own a sport bike though. Your point of view is interesting because damaging the threads by using your recommended method, just isn't appealing to me. Maybe you don't understand what is involved in repairing damaged spark plug threads. I'm looking forward to seeing you "show me up". So many people like you on CZcams who give your opinion, yet have no content on your channel. Must be nice to hide. Why don't you get in the ring. Show me how it's done. You have a channel already... so make me a video. You have zero excusses. You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk? Or would you rather talk about Cleveland?

      Yeah I have an r6 and I just changed them 20 minutes ago, there's a big hole in the plastic you can reach right to them. I've been a mechanic my whole life bro. So I always find the easiest way. Sorry if that pisses you off.
