【tricot】
“tricot” is a Japanese alternative rock band that was formed in the historical and cultural city of Kyoto on Sep 1, 2010.
The band develops an unusual and distinctive sound that consists of harmonization of pop and emotional vocals with a complex rhythm. The members are not familiar with math rock and such harmonization is not created on purpose.
“tricot” has been to many places around the world and successfully held a total of 109 shows overseas through 3 Asia tours, 2 Europe tours including a supporting act for Pixies in the UK, US tours and UK tours. Their concert events are often sold-out and tricot is active throughout the world as musicians.

Man, all the girls vocals are something brilliant but Motifour's voice really stood out to me, I find it soooo good to hear.
キダさんのギターリフが大好きで弾いてる姿もかっこいいなぁと思ってたんだけど、歌ってる姿もかっこよくて歌声も素敵だなんてマジっすか…惚れるしかない…。

I already loved this song, but now seeing the mv and the lyrics (I don't even speak japanese), I love it even more. I've been listening to Tricot for about 4 years now, and you're my favorite band. I would love to see you performing live, specially this song with Motifour and Hirohiro singing so beautifully together with Ikkyu. Love from Brazil, I hope to see you live soon.

tricot live is the best, had the pleasure of seeing them on the Super chon bros tour 2 back in 2018. Literally my first time hearing their music. Best show of my life by far. Tricot was the mvp

Tricot have been the soundtrack of pandemic for me, and being in awe of their amazing talent has become and continues to be a welcome distraction. Kida's ability to play complex guitar parts while singing is truly inspirational.
