Ischia ponte & porto 4K

The island of Ischia is a popular tourist destination all year round due to its many thermal springs. If you come by ferry from Naples (Italy) you can see the small offshore island with the impressive "Castello Aragonese", connected by a long bridge to the historic district of Ischia Ponte.
Ischia Ponte owes its name to the 230m long bridge (Italian: Ponte). The former fishermen's houses along the water, the magnificent palaces in the center, the clock tower in which the sea museum is located, nice little bars and shops and the piazza in front of the bridge have a very special charm. Ponte and Porto connect Via Roma and Corso Vittoria Colonna, the pedestrian zone with shops, bars, restaurants, gourmet shops and some 5-star hotels.
Ischia Porto is named after the island's main port and is an original volcanic crater. The nightlife takes place in the fish restaurants and bars and fish lovers really get their money's worth here. The mood and charm of this small promenade right on the harbor basin has something particularly beautiful.
