Welcome to videos by shredder professionals! They all do the same thing. I quit buying instructional DVD's/VHS's from guys like this long ago.... No disrespect Zakk🤘😂
Starts out learning blues scales but remember every musician is born with there own tone so you can play on the same set up as Zakk but youll see the sound comes from you lesson for another day but remember good music comes from the soul not the body
E da cosa lo capiresti che sotto non c’è alcuna ritmica? Solo alla fine accenna qualcosa, ma nella maggior parte del video esegue solamente pentatoniche.
@@Nautilus25 because he wasn't necessarily sticking to five notes, he was adding extra notes in that gave it a dorian flavor, even without a rhythm track beneath it.
We are just gonna have to agree to disagree. I bet no matter what I say you are going to disagree. I stand by my initial comment. And yes, 2nd and Major6th....
Why do some players give him crap for playing pentatonic scales? So many of the greatest players use the pentatonic scales.... Clapton, Page, Hendrix, Gallagher, Beck, Gilmore... All these players and more almost strictly play with pentatonic scales. Zakk is arguably better than all of these guys playing these scales. Why give him crap for it?
Lmao. Zakks a great player, but a terrible teacher. Should of just called this a Demo instead of a lesson. Same thing in his early 90s "lesson" video also. At least in that one he at least attempts to show you some licks and stuff hahah
The title says “guitar lesson”. It should be called Jeffrey Wielandt pentatonic show off! (Zakks real name.) Zakk, no need to compensate as a tough guy for the stage name you made up when you were 10 yrs old and now stuck with. We all love you, your one of the last real rock stars. It might be about that time to take a lawn mower to that beard.
Jeffrey needs a new name and reality check. He's rich and famous, you're begging for meaningless attention from strangers because it's better than your life
@@Shredwacka I was gonna say something along those same lines, but I think you hit it just right. Zakk is my all time favorite, and studying him has brought me far in my musical prowess. He's a very versatile guitar player but sticks to what brought him to the dance, the pentatonic and such. It's easy for those who haven't seen all of what he's capable of to judge as a one trick pony. They need to go back and listen to what he said about what his approach to his signature sound and style would be. Other guitar players were doing everything he thought of and the only thing left was blazing pentatonics on booze and steroids. That's what he took as his own and molded it to his own style and technique. That's what brought him to the dance, and it's what we all know him for.... Thank you for your support and defense on our guy. I hope that if you're a musician, you are on your way and achieving everything you set out for. Also, may nobody ever take advantage of your efforts and creation or any other variable in life. If you're not a musician, I wish you all the same towards a happy, healthy and strong life....🤘🤘
@@metallicafan416 Couldn't have said it better myself brother 🤘🤘 Haters gonna hate, always gonna be some out there. They don't have to listen or watch. So go listen to whatever in their all knowing opinion is better tunes. Coz we sure don't need them here🤘🤘
He's very skilled at striking poses too! Not just any fool can pose like that.
Zake is a frigging BEAST🤘😎🤘
The commentary is incredible. Second to none. Also, love the 1990s porno vibe. Early days of the CDROM.
one scale to rule them all.
I watch Zakks lessons. Then look for a guy on youtube to teach Zakks stuff.
Sounds a lot better when he's playing with the whole band. I saw BLS in 2013 and they rocked! It was a great show.
Cool dude, owns the stage. Hella fast
I'm a Zack and BLS fan for life! BLS band is forever in my heart! :)
Zakk rules!!!!!
SDMF
This was all the beginner books from back in the day played through at hyper speed! Hal Leonard at warp speed. Engage!
His left hand fingers barely rise above the fretboard, flawless technique
yes, he was unreal at this era!
He still is, isn't he?
Speechless
The notes are easy, hitting them fast enough is the hard part😮
Guitar is so afraid it plays itself while he just admires it
I learned that some can play and some can teach and also that I still suck.
Zakk gives the worst lessons ever! Sits, drinks beer and rips it. Now go figure it out lol
I’ve thought that for 20 years!
Yngwie is the same
still better than malmsteen lol
Lol...fair enough
Both great players' lousy instructors
@@filipedoria9561no i would say that yngwie is still a better instructor than zakk
It’s not a race, Zakk!
Why is the f# fretboard position orange?
Never knew he was so good at hybrid picking, damn.
This guy is a monster, physically speaking
👑♥️
I had this on CD Rom, the windows 98 edition!
I’m guessing just the second fret isn’t in any of his scales!😅

He's playing major scales minor scales nonsense scales pentatonic scales stupid stuff mostly void of musicality
Like watching that video of Buckethead playing stuff in the white painted cinderblock room. Lots of examples, but what the fuck does any of it mean?

What intro song?
original track for this
Why the tank theme?
how the fuck he's that clean with those emg's
That's the point of the emg
I mean it's a high output pickup cleans should be dirty with these
@@lalolanda3996
Nice drug reference
More like a demonstration than a lesson but he rocks
heavy metal chicken pickin' ...git it Bubba !
He doesn`t like to play fret number 2
That’s a lot o Sherman’s
Not so much a lesson though awesome playing. Meths a helluva drug. 😂
I swear he was playing Dorian mode more than pentatonic......

Play Free Bird
Need more pinch harmonic. Just saying 😅
No technicality worse ever😂😂
not using his pinky much

Guitar nerds who play wabby sweeps on Seventh arpegios and some modal chances and think they are Mozart they cant play a rythm part like zakk
I love pentatonic scale, and Zakk is pretty cool, but this junk doesn't make sense
Wtf
Dude just slow down!!!! Wtf lmao
Very helpful. NOT
This is so awesome but like, the WORST lesson explanations EVER!!!!!
I really love this "lesson" but its a performance, a "ok i will play and you can record" type thing
I really love the odd licks, really on fire
He still has to write a decent tune to people will hum in a hundred years. All technique and no songs.
Do you think all the classic riffs in Ozzy´s albums were written by Ozzy?
@@tubo777 What classic riffs? Are you refering to the classic riffs written by Randy and Jake E Lee? The big spitting buffoon hasn't written one yet.
Perry Mason is a hell of a riff. That was Zakk’s

No soul. Nothing.

Uuuggghhh I hate his "signature " vibrato move.
It is wayyy over the top Stallone...
Hey Zak, the war is over…
This is useless!
