🔥 This light is on sale right now! alnk.to/6mP9oye
Have been really happy with Streamlight for over 15 years.
I got into law enforcement in the late 90's. We had the large rechargeable Streamlights in our squads. Loved them. We also started getting the stingers that we carries on our duty belts. Back then the only two real lights out there for our duty belts were either a Surefire 6P or the stinger. Back in the day the most we got out of them were about 100 lumen. Boy how times have changed. I couldn't tell you how many times I've used Streamlight to clear buildings, search cars or light up darken corners. I trusted my life to them for over 20 years. Though I'm out of LE now, I still carry a small Protec today.
Have a few streamlights. Have not been disappointed. Great review.
Great review, especially liked how you demonstrated the difference between the two older models versus the new model.
Thanks Mark!!
Will check it out. And yes more lights.
Thanks for the info, good content. Am looking to buy one, now I will thanks again.
I've been using 2 kalarus lights for 5 or 8 years and been awesome, 1 of them on a 12ga
Great video and light Matt
Thanks brother!
Great light review 👌!!! The second light would be good for law enforcement work. 28 years in law enforcement taught me you can never have enough light. Thank you, brother!
Streamlight’s customer service is phenomenal, and their performance vs price is hard to beat!
Absolutely!
Great comparison review! I'm planning on picking up the HL-X Pro after watching this!
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Great light and video!
Thanks bro!
Appreciate the comparison. Great video!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Good seeing you brotherstill out here making logical and informative videos. I have always liked Streamlight, best bang for the buck by far.
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
Bought this light because of this video. Thanks a lot my man
Awesome! I hope you like it as much as I have!
Really good video. Thanks
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Doubling the candela is awesome
Absolutely!
Good comparison Sir. I'd upload 5:56 to 7:50 as a short. It shows the short 'n sweet long distance comparison really well.
Was checking into Goonbeam's Long v1 & v2. Shows the "too much candela" balance you're talking about.
I appreciate it!! And thanks for the suggestion on the short. If you want to see a good video on the Goon Beam, check out the channel "FocusTripp." He does a good detailed video on it. Tell him I sent you! Lol
Ok I have the older one and runs great with no problems.
It's been a great light for me as well. The Pro is definitely an improvement though.
Badass man thank you for helping me decide on the pro!!!
It's a great light! Thanks for watching!
Not bad, not bad at all. They put out some good lights.
Agreed! And thanks for watching!
Sweet light
Thanks for watching!
Ty 🎉
Great night filming on the 3 models.
Thanks!!!
I have had many different Streamlight handheld lights all good . I had a Protac Railmount it was utter garbage, and it flickered. I have an original TLR7 that has been excellent though I would like the updated models betterI would assume.
Bought one for my survival kit 10 years ago. I just put it on my 12-gauge Mossberg 590 Shockwave. I shoot heavy recoil loads, nothing wimpy. I'm going to the range in a week to test the endurance. As far as flashlights are concerned, the Protac is a battery vampire. Only negative about it so far.
This is the brand new one. It sounds like you probably have the older Protac. Thanks for watching.
Great review and awesome light! Anyone know, if the Arisaka tail cap adapter work on the XLX Pro ? The one for run a unity/surefire switch? It doesn’t fit the 2.0. But not sure of the pro version!
Thanks
Did they solve the flicker the original HLX had? I had to stretch my tailcap spring on mine to solve it, it was only intermittent, but annoying, solid light other than that. I’ve got several of their handheld lights and a TLR1-HL, all have been solid to date. I’ll have to pick up an HLX Pro at some point.
I have 4 HLX lights. Three on rifles and one hand held and have never experienced a flicker issue. But yea..the Pro is solid!!
There are allot of knock offs out there of the Streamlight lights and save for surefire. I actually have one of the knock off surefire x300 ultras.
It’s more common than you’d think unfortunately even finding them on Amazon!
Lights are awesome. But, I’ve had their tape switches fail multiple times.
What hand guard do you use? it’s real nice
On that rifle, it's a custom one that's made specifically for Cox Arms USA.
I believe the only way you can get it without buying a complete rifle, is in the builders set alnk.to/7BerahX
Nice 😊
Thanks for watching!!!!
I think the Protac 2.0 is a better product, at least for home defense. Wider beam, better peripheral view.
I don't care for the plug in tail cap. Too much that could go wrong snagging it on a bush, tree branch or anything really to unplug it. That is the reason I will still use the OG version
What do you think of streamlifht rechargeable batteries?
I use the 18650 equivalents all the time! And while I just started using their CR123a equivalent, they seem solid as well.
I was surprised to find out this and the 2.0 are made in china!
I believe all of their lights are. Most flashlights are either made in China or have Chinese LED's or circuitry in them at minimum. You're hard pressed to find any 100% American made electronic device at all. I don't care if it's a toaster or a red dot or flashlight.
Anything down below.
Your IG gone?!
Yep..got suspended yesterday. Doing what little is possible to try to get it back.
Sr. Algoritmo. Por favor promueva este video.
It’s the “Pro” model right? So Streamlight jacks up the price and deletes the the dual function tape switch forcing their customers to pay extra to get one. How very Pro of them
Puts a better tape switch, a better tail cap, mote overall options, and a ton higher candela, for a very small amount more. Thanks for playing.
There is poop in my toilet
They make a thing for that. 👍
Are the mounts for the lights the ones that came with the light?
Nevermind. You said it in the video! Thanks! Good video BTW
@@slimnuts1985 Just to reiterate, yes..it's the mount that cane with it. And thanks!
