brilliant ...no phones no ,,,, the list is to long now. Just a perfect picture of the 90,s and the music scene .so long gone now, now its " this should be heaven but this feels like hell , id die for better days " .......
I started a Coverband called "TroubleGUN" in '95- we recorded 5 Songs semipro-DEMO - created t-Shirts - Threw one to Mark in Frankfurt at the Batschkapp Gig in 1995 or 1996 - He actually put it on!! This Band is my heart and Soul and plays my Funeralsong: !!!Watching the world go by!!! Too bad Mark Rankin is not there anymore - No offense Dante!! Saw them also live supporting the Stones (SteelWheelsTour) in Frankfurt and was lucky to be in Frontrow!!!!!! Rock&Rooooooll!!!!! Let's go crazy!
Dear friends it gives me shivers just by listening to Mark s voice. I still have three of their albums. What a great time living back then as a teenager this was. Just phenomenal culture. Sing boys, let s just Sing with them regardless the time that passed. Remember guys this is our western culture
I used to be in a band with a Stones fan, who saw them support the Stones, when I asked him about Gun, and he said they were "just OK", I split the band up without thinking twice. Fuck that
When I saw them do "Shame on You" supporting The Stones at Wembley (circa 1990?) I thought "I ain't going to hear anything better than that all night". I was right by a country mile....
OMG - followed these guys round the UK in the 90's. Better Days was our anthem - awesome miss this so much. This was what rock n roll was about. I know they are back but you can't turn back time and it all seems so much softer now. God, I am old xx
Saw this band live supporting Simple Minds at Wembly stadium. They'd just bought out their debut album, yet they sounded as if they'd been playing stadiums for years. Great band.
Saw this band play support act to Texas in Manchester university...pre first album release..so good....so tight..they came back onstage to play with Texas for the final song, cover of "sweet child of mine'. Only found out later the lead singers of both bands were family.
...and I was there, wearing my "Roger Mellie Man on Telly" T-Shirt - Wont forget this - had this on VHS somewhere - awesome to watch this again and I know it note for note. Great days.
I’ve loved this lineup since the first album back in 1989…. You just don’t understand how JEALOUS I am because I live in America an I don’t remember them EVER coming to my hometown, Washington DC. To this day, I would LOVE to see them live!
@@Wyckerman i havent seen a photo or anything. you think he would have some kind of social media. if he did have one, people would be nagging him to sing again.
@@peterwebber6141 Yeah, I assume that's why he doesn't have any public accounts, and if the Gizzi brothers still have any contact with him, they keep it to themselves.
Its real I was a great fan of Marks voice ,I bought later the CD Frantic it was 2015 but without Mark it wasn't the same .I've got Taking on the World ,Gallus and Swager and still enjoy them a lot. Marvelous to hear this concert
GRANDESSS
Pedazo de banda de rock, Gun! Sus dos primeros discos son espectaculares!! Very underrated band, their first 2 albums are just awesome!! Love that melodic vibe...and this live recording sounds great. I remember playing "Better days" with my cover band. :-)
Amazing memories, this is an official DVD ( I had it) Original line up too ( Baby Stafford was a legend!!!) shame Rankin ain't on vocals now. I adored this band!!
Great band , Mark Rankin was the best front man for me and this concert was typical of what you got from them at thier very best... Awesome...................Thanks guys !!!!!!
I remember this gig, I was down the front that night, I think it would have been early 1990. I must have seen them half a dozen times in that first couple of years. Great live band.
I miss the Gallus line up! Mark, was on top of his game singing and he had two guitar players that were amazing! Drummers, were great on all the album, and so were the bass players. I think the second song that I heard wasn't on the first two albums on this live performance. That one should have been a bonus track! The sound on this live performance is incredible. It should be made into a Blue Ray or DVD release its so good!
fukin quality andy,,,,,,i won tickets on tom russells rock show ,,,,,me and my mates all phoned in ,,,,so we went down to london on a coach on laid on by radio clyde,,,,it was pure sausage sabba
i was at this gig, great heavy bands around this time with GNR as well, saw them loads of times, even a small warm up gig in camden underworld, why they went the pop route that killed them, never the same after mark rankin left, great upload
Saw them in Glasgow on Friday. Still going strong with Dante as the front man. Mark was always going to be a big miss with his Excellant voice but I think GUN are doing a cracking job
He Gun, we need you in Belguim or an european tour, I saw you supported The Rolling Stones in stadium Köln Germany, great band, great gig, love, Patrick
Had this audio donkeys years ago. Must have lost it. Saw Gun in Seville about 5 years ago, the bass player in this show was the singer, and the guitarist who seems to have a hyperactivity disorder was gone and some new guy was lead guitarist and was pretty good. But there was too much talking between songs. This gig was great by the sound of it.

Just came across this. Brilliant band. Saw them twice. Once supporting the Stones. And they wore engineers boots. Very, very underrated.

Fucking amen 🙏👌😎👌
Saw them opening for the Stones. Everybody hated them, but I immediately fell in love with the songs. What an amazing band, until today!
Why would people hate such an amazing rock band? Shame on those haters!!!
I used to be in a band with a Stones fan, who saw them support the Stones, when I asked him about Gun, and he said they were "just OK", I split the band up without thinking twice. Fuck that

One of the best albums I bought in my life, and that I was only 13 years old, I still listen to it with 44 years, great, round disc.
Love this band.. since 90'S...
Portugal - Lisboa
Probably the best rock band Scotland ever produced. This the best line up, Chanter*They rocked the Barrows early 90s
My all time favorite band til I die, they had it all. Still relevant. Check out Favorite Pleasures, especially the track "Without You In My Life"
First band I ever saw live - and they were all around my age. Awesome stuff, miss them a lot.
UNDERRATED BAND!
+Kevin Smith I'm totally with you.
Awesome GUN Fans UNITE!

Mark Rankin is the best singer Scotland has ever produced. It's criminal that we don't get to hear him sing these days.
its a crime
I hope he comes back one day. I have googled him loads of times. Can't even find a photo
