Just what I needed! Been really warm these past few days here and been wearing only cool and comfy clothes: t-shirts/tanks + shorts (denim anf linen). Will definetly be using some of these tips and idéas for my upcoming trips! Will definetly be thinning more about statement accessories and shoes. Currently only own black (I mean, black will always be black) but for those simple, plain outfits that I naturally gravitate toward (t-shirt + shorts or simple dress) it'll be fun to try to incoorporate some more unique elements 😊

I have a vest I wear to death too, but we have very different styles (my vest is an obvious example . Think a patch and pin vest , very biker, very um edgy I guess?). But I still take alot from your videos, they're invaluable!!

Layering and wearing sports bras have been my go-to this year for summer! Apart from crochet tops for layering, I really like wearing thin/almost mesh-like button downs with a tank top underneath. I remember seeing you do this in one of your videos where you styled a beautiful voluminous see-through white button down and I've loved doing it since!

I would love to know your opinions on solid co ords. They are everywhere but styling them seem tricky as they can easily look like a pj set.
I actually love any co ord just because it can be worn separately but also as a set. I think adding a third piece to the set makes it feel less like pjs. I would accessorise quite a lot with crossbodies, jewellery etc to help elevate it and feel less like pjs :)

You have the crosshatched cropped oversized Tibi blazer--how heavy is the weight of the fabrication? Is it a lighter more tropical weight wool or is more of a thick heavy wool?

Oh this is the perfect place to ask, sometimes I don't see comments on old videos as easily as I do new :) The weight of the blazer is light, I would say it is very slightly lighter than tropical weight wool. It just feels like a light shell. I wouldn't rely on it for a lot of warmth.

Enjoy Bali, Helen! As an Indonesian I like layering pieces like cardigans or linen shirts that can be taken off easily when it gets really hot and humid. Also it's been raining these past few weeks so don't wear long hemmed pants or skirts lest you get the end soaked 🥲
