Precalc will automatically become an AP next year so although Im kinda salty I dont get to add another AP to my list (I like to catch em all) Im glad I don't feel pressured to take another test cuz the AP exam is so annoying 🙄 also my precalc reacher sucks

To answer your "Pre"-AP PreCalc comment, it's coming very soon-- schools should have it within the next few years (in fact, some already do I think). I saw it as an AP test to sign up for this year, so some schools may already offer it this or next year?

Can someone answer these please: 1) do USA students in highschool take classes based on their choicee like combinatorics(math), physcis etc. and skip the rest? 2) how do you guys get into college? By ap exam or applications or grade points?
1.) US students have to take classes in many areas (for example, I have to take 4 credits of English, 3 credits of history, 3 credits of science, etc. I also have to take a certain number of "elective" credits. Since I want to go into business, I can take statistics to count towards my math credit requirement. My business class falls into the elective requirement). Basically, you are required to take a certain number of classes in each subject area, but you can choose which specific classes you take to fulfill those requirements. 2.) To get into college, US students have to fill out college applications. These applications involve essays. Students also include their GPAs (grade point averages) and AP/IB scores. I hope that helps!
My teacher has us use the D&S (I can check what it’s really called exactly if anyone wants). It doesn’t cover content, only practice exams, but the questions r harder than the board so she says it prepares us well.
